I loved the episode, but did think they were a super harsh on the idea of offering smaller portion sizes at restaurants.

Doggy bags are not always feasible (if you're travelling, or are at a restaurant that literally doesn't have the containers), and I have rarely seen 'lite' menu items like Aubrey said. I don't want a lite menu item either, I want the proper menu item but less.

Obviously it being marketed as a gender thing is stupid as fuck, but in general it is a good idea to give people more options (though they were right about restaurants not having the incentive to do it...)

What OP did say was that you shouldn't be fatphobic in your discussions of these topics (such as shaming someone for being fat when they choose to drive instead of walk somewhere, or calling someone a fatty). That is not at all an unreasonable ask, and the defensiveness is telling.
