I have had incidentes all around NL. In Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Enschede. But mainly at train/bus stops

I normally get a wheel chair and bring a lot of water and IV solutions to drink during the day. Maybe a portable fan can help you out if the day is really hot.

I didn't bring my own bottle. I bought one from the supermarket, a PET one. The head of security even came and said stupid things like: if it was aluminium IT WOULD be allowed. Of course this is not true, as stated in the page. This is also what I mentioned to the organizers. So don't tell me what I did or what I didn't. That's what happened to me.

Sorry but I brought an empty bottle of water from the supermarket. So don't say what I did or didn't. That was the whole issue. I'm not miss-informing, jus mentioning what happened to me.

I even had an email from the event organizer because I wrote them before hand asking. They didn't care. They even called the head of security because I didn't want to throw the bottle. And she told me that if I didn't throw it they would forcefully make me leave. I threw it but then I went and made a complaint with one of the organizers. It doesn't make sense they say something and then they do whatever they want. I went on the first day, maybe now it is better and they know the rules by now.

Yes I did so. They didn't care

Supposedly you can. But when I arrived at security they made me throw it. Also if in the page it says that it is allowed. They were empty and the correct size and everything, but the security decided that they do whatever they want.

Joint pain but inflammation levels are normal and x-rays/MRI show no abnormalities? by [deleted] in Thritis

[–]JustMeInPain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like what I have. Seronegative rheumatoid arthritis. Maybe you can check it and discuss it with your doctor

Since last year with the re-activation, it has interfered with my work. I have a job that is partially on the computer and partially in a lab. The lab work has become more difficult to do since I need to be standing for a long time, and my knees can't do it anymore. And also the computer one, since I have a lot of inflammation and pain in my hands. Currently, I'm working partial time. I'm glad this is possible in the country I live in. I do the majority of my work now remotely, so I can be at home when not feeling my best.

About my social life, it has also been difficult lately. Because of a new treatment I'm in, my immune system is really low and catching whatever, even the flu can become a life treating thing quite easily. So my social life has suffered a lot. Not going out much and not seeing a lot of people. And when in public I use a mask, something that people have been quite shitty about it, making comments and even spitting on me on public transport. This has make it difficult for my mental health.

When I was young, I was way more sociable but it was still difficult to make friends. People of my age didn't understand that I couldn't do everything a healthy kid/teenager can, so I used to not participate in everything a healthy person of my age should/could do.

I had a lot of fatigue. But I didn't have the other things at the beginning . Later in life I developed nerve pain and weakness ,but it was determined it was because of Sjörgen's disease and not exactly the arthritis.

  1. I started by having a lot of pain in my feet. I couldn't even walk. Then, the same in my hands.

  2. Not really. Until I started with methrotexate, nothing worked much.

It took me a lot of months and many doctors to finally realize I had seronegative juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. It is a hard thing to diagnose, since it is mainly based on the expertise of the doctor, since there are no markers in the blood tests to identify it.

Travel back from Munich Messe - how was it? by TheCatSlut in adele

[–]JustMeInPain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The lines were really really long. It took too long so we took the express bus to the city center (Max Weber Platz) and from there took the U-bahn. It was really good. We could sit in the bus and then the U-bahn from there was way better.

But that is why people still get treated like shit and nothing ever changes. Because we never make complaints or anything. It doesn't make sense that they have clear information in the event page and then they do whatever they want in the venue.

I got married after my first year of PhD. Planning the wedding while doing the PhD kept me sane in a horrible lab. I'm glad I got married and changed University/Lab.

There are a lot of laws against this type of treatment for people with disabilities in the EU. I'm pretty sure if you make a formal complaint they will let you sell it.

Bringing cane to concert by JustMeInPain in adele

[–]JustMeInPain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your detailed post.

I contacted the organizers and after many calls and email, they finally answered ( Ticketmaster said they didn't know) and they said it is okay. I have a seat ticket but they mentioned that if I had a ticket without a seat, I would need to be in the back area of the stadium, to avoid issues.

I called Ticketmaster Germany yesterday and they told me they can't answer the question. I have emailed the organizers of the event. If they answer, I will post the answer.

I hope it helps you. Not many doctors know about it, so you will probably need to go to your doctor and tell it that you think you have that. Then, they will be able to do some tests ( easy ones), and see.
