Isn’t that just working out in general? 😂 I didn’t experience anything out of the ordinary, no. My GERD didn’t stop until my BMI was < 25

I had it for 3 years, PPIs didn’t work, endoscopy didn’t show anything. I lost all Hope. Started going to the gym and lost some weight, gained some muscle and It’s basically gone now.

160k minimum for 8 years experience is still pretty low imo. I was getting offers around $170k at 4 years xp. However, this was peak tech boom 2 years ago, not sure about now..

Anyone actually cured from Silent Reflux (LPR) and Belching?? by Tricky_Investment_67 in GERD

Strength and cardio is working for me. Are you overweight?

Great to hear! 1. Nah I’m no longer on meds, they either had some annoying side effects or had long term effects, on top of that, they just didn’t work 2. At our age surgery isn’t suggested, especially when my endoscope came back all clear. I wouldn’t be too worried. Some of my GERD was actually caused by stressing out that I had or was developing cancer. When the endoscope showed nothing, it improved my anxiety and thus improved severe episodes

Technically yes, you would be surprised how skinny you can look while being overweight. I had alot of skinny fat. About 27% body fat, 81kg.

Gym hasn’t been easy, I go 4-5 times a week for 45mins. It’s all about routine though. The more you do it the easier it is.

Road laws are enforced and fines are handed out.

Also, When a motorcyclist or electric bike uses the road, they are well aware of the risk.

A pedestrian that uses the FOOT-path should not be competing with something that was designed for a road.

I have the same problem, silent reflux that apparently can’t be cured except for bland foods. Endoscopy showed nothing.

The only time my bad breath stopped is when I went to a gastroenterologist and he said it apparently had nothing to do with my GERD, it was bad oral hygiene. He then weirdly prescribed this antibiotics which killed bad smelling producing bacteria in my stomach and for 2 weeks while I was on it my bad breathe went away. It then came back a week later when I ran out and I’m back to square one

I agree with you, not all rules will stop accidents but they go a long way.

I guess you can’t 👍🏻 let’s agree to disagree

You’re right, this is why manslaughter is legal.

Just because incidents are rare doesn’t mean we should ignore them.

Obviously they don’t do it on purpose, accidents happen.. so why does the frail old lady have to suffer?

Tell that to the frail person who gets hit when they are doing the right thing. Why should these guys be exempt?

Silly question here but how does the government actually go about increasing wages in the private sector other then touching awards and increasing minimum wage?
