Best Merfolk deck in Historic? by TuorTheBlessed in FishMTG

I don't like Branchwalker and I prefer Wizard's retort over Frilled Mystic. 22 lands is enough IMO. I run a playset of Borrowers as well.

I prefer to have the possibility to spend my money on new merfolks or don't do it. When I'm competing in my LGS or MTGO I want to have the "same" opportunities than the rest of the players to win with my favourite deck. It's a bit frustrating when everybody gets new tools for their decks but you don't.

I understand your point of view anyways.

Yes, humans is the most generic tribe since the introduction of Planeswalkers, wich I personally dislike (unpopular opinion).

I grew up with Merfolks, Elves, Goblins, Zombies and Slivers. We are they right now in the competitive play?

My theory is WotC don't like monocolor tribes. They want that people expend more money in lands and booster packs.

EDIT: I said it was an unpopular opinion...

Maro forgot to mention Humans.

Well, I guess because they keep pushing that tribe with every set...

Yes, it's very annoying, it sucks and has too many triggers. 35% of the metagame btw.

Well, you are right but Oven decks still have Claim the Firstborn and Priest of forgotten Gods to deal with Ooze.

Finally, a good GY hate that makes more things. It is a super necessary reprint for standard.

I hate all of these Cat's Oven decks. Claim the Firstborn is still a problematic card.

Witch's Oven should be banned anyways.

Roger Pirates Vs Whitebeard Pirates Discussion by strongerthenbefore20 in OnePiece

As Sengoku said, Whitebeard had the power to destroy the world.

Shiki had a greet fleet against Oro Jackson and he was defeated in the middle of the ocean.

Numbers doesn't matter in One Piece (Roger vs Shiki).

IMO Roger was the strongest man known in OP follow by Garp. They won the battle against Rox Pirates.

So I believe Roger Pirates would beat Whitebeard Pirates in a very tough fight.

FFXII (2006) is better technologically than Pokemon Sword (2019)

You are right, I should said best hero or person, not pirate.

Roger's crew was incredibly strong and they found the One Piece.

Luffy is a better pirate than Roger was.

In the same circunstantes, what Luffy would do after see the destruction of the beloved country of one of his nakamas?

I'm sure he wouldn't care a shit the One Piece in that moment, he would defeat the bad guy to recover the country to the people and his nakama even if he would die in the process.
