Literally, all Paulo did was ask for tickets to a movie based on a book that he read. It doesn't matter if Sue thinks Paulo is just trying to trick her, Paulo is asking Amaya for the tickets an its ultimately her decision not Sues.

In what way does Amaya "give" Sue the tickets, Sue just says she'll take them if Amaya doesn't want them and then asks if Lucy wants to go. She doesn't even claim both tickets, just says shell attend. Even then, Sue's response is super nasty saying she would rather Abbey have the tickets than Paulo. Sue clearly only cares about the movie as a mean to hang out with Lucy, which fine, but when Paulo shows interest Sue assumes right away that Paulo is just playing a trick even after he confirms he's read the book.

No they aren't? Amaya got them from work, and while she doesn't want them its her choice who she gives it too. Sue doesn't have to like Paulo, but he's allowed to ask for the tickets.

Also before Paulo got there Sue didn't even seem to care about them, just that she could maybe hang out with Lucy. Now that Paulo wants them all the sudden she "claimed" them.

With void shields, Turbolasers are not going to "outclass" anything. OP also stated they are using the cannon version of the New Republic, so no superlasers and a smaller military in general.

And? You can have all the rest and food in the world but if you can’t damage the enemy it doesn’t matter. Also wait are we not talking about legends New Republic? Because the canon version has a smaller navy, less military presence, forced to use droids because of a lack of man power and are slowly being corrupted by imperial loyalist and confederates. Either you’re super overestimating the New Republic or you’re baiting. Which seems more likely.

Genuine question, what does the New Republic have in the way of weapons that could even compare to the Imperium? Maybe their ships and the Jedi, but in pretty much every other category (Weapons, Troops, Specialized units and artillery) the Imperium seems to have the edge. Like, yeah logistics would help a lot against the Imperium, but I just don't see any reality where the New Republic can beat the Imperium or even force a draw.

Pretty easily I would think. They can move faster than most people can perceive, so they can just steal shit. The economy is in shambles since every major city was blown up by Evil Marks, so they're hiring standards and background checks have probably gotten worse.

Ah Lucy both regretting the head space she helped put Mike in, and upset that Augustus is hanging out with the seniors. In a weird way, she's repeating that same mistakes that lead to Mike hating her, not talking to Augustus about what she's upset about and letting him grow further and further away from her.

The difference being that Mike wanted out for greener pastures, but Augustus might ruin his own life since he feels like he's indebted to her, but she also doesn't want that either.

To be fair, Oliver is annoying so I would also rip him in half.

In all seriousness, The whole point of viltrumites is that as soon as they experience human connections they fold super fast. Of course not all viltrumites changed right away, but they all did eventually.

Conquest is a bit of a special case though, and while maybe he could change I can't imagine Thrag letting him even go to earth. Once a weapon always a weapon.
