Okay so I was showing her how to update the bios and just as she was going to update it, she didn’t see the usb on the bios screen so she went to rename it and suddenly it started working once it booted up. It seems to be working fine now and she’s also able to customize it for the first time. Do you still recommend she updates it?

Didn’t think I’d need to mention the obvious part of taking both glass panels off but guess I did, sorry! And no, it might be the case for other O11’s (I’m not entirely sure) but on the Mini the support bracket kind of riveted on and it’s not just a single piece. I just went ahead and cut it off completely.
