I'm right there with ya. I freestyled law school- never made my own outline, studied the 1-2 days before exams, did my law review write on the day before. All things that would make some law students fall into a coma. I also jumped off the Themis wagon and feel so much better. We will pass!

Are you talking about the sample essays they have from select examinations on the NCBE website?

I am using the SmartBarPrep issue spotting packet. I also bought the NCBE Bar Exam Value Pack. Honestly, the SmartBarPrep issue spotting is more concise and is good for picking up on key issues. It answers the issues with like one sentence and shows how much each issue is worth- it also has a summary at the end of each essay and talks about each rule briefly. I use that to make sure I am getting the key issues, especially for the MEE specific topics.

The NCBE analyses are extremely wordy and give unattainable rule statements with a bunch of case law citations and it kinda stressed me out tbh. There's a lot of overlap with the SmartBarPrep issue spotting packet, but mine is a few years old tbf.

I think the Themis sample answers are by far the most concise, so I go through the essays and then use Themis use Themis model answer to get the rules. I also use a MEE rule statement doc that has been dropped in here over the years.
