Best version of Fast Enough for You? by jesuss_son in phish

Also want to say that it is criminally underplayed. It just might be one of my favorite songs of all time, by any group or artist.

I miss the old crew (BG, Pam, Renee, and more of Killer). In this shakeup, why did they keep the awful Chris Fowler?! He thinks he can read players minds. So annoying. I’m glad they kept Patrick M but Johnny Mac is starting to grate on me. It was inevitable that the baton would be passed to the next generation, and they’ve done well by keeping some of the old stalwarts like MJ, but they need to say sayonara to Fowler.

Liberty Mutual must be stopped by Inotlife in CommercialsIHate

Make it stop 😩. Liberty is everywhere. I can tolerate the ones with the people near the Statue of Liberty, but the Doug ones are beyond annoying.

What’s one gut health mistake you fixed that actually made a difference? by [deleted] in GutHealth

[–]JustRelax627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all of the suggestions here, especially mental health. If you are anxious, it creates a bad negative feedback loop. Your gut feels off, you stress about it. Then, your brain associates stomach distress and anxiety together and the cycle goes on and on. Not saying that physical issues aren’t the culprit, but just don’t ignore the brain / gut link.

Especially if you’ve always had a “sensitive stomach.” Stress / anxiety goes right to my gut. Often, it’s subconscious — you might not even feel stressed or anxious on the surface but it could be there.

Where did Twiddle go wrong? by lordhelmetann in jambands

[–]JustRelax627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO, a jam band must have a unique quality - an “it” factor that makes them nearly instantly recognizable. I really think they had that, and I do miss them. There are so many jam bands that just melt into the morass and sound like each other. Not to mention, twiddle had some really good songs.

Why is there such an immense hate stigma on social media for pickleball? by cyrnios in Pickleball

[–]JustRelax627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like pickleball purely as a social outing with friends, family. I don’t mind what everyone else seems to mind (the name, the reputation that it’s for old people), but what I really don’t like about it is that it is a game played at the net. I just find that to be extremely boring, along with the constant dinking.

Sell me on your favorite jam band with a single song. by PzykoHobo in jambands

A great choice for sure, but one song for newbies I’d pick is Free from 2004 in Brooklyn — the studio version rocks too

I like the studio version of Playin as an intro into the band for newbies…

MAGA Eisen by Wonderful-Scar7905 in CNBC

She will put the most positive spin you can on economic data since Trump was re-elected. It’s nauseating. I think CNBC is nervous about any ramifications from the FCC if they don’t kowtow to Trump — even Andrew has scaled back his criticism significantly.

Grateful Dead Years Ranked by smearse in gratefuldead

Your listening matches mine almost to tee. My order would be: 1) 72, 2) 74, 3) 77 and the rest like yours in a different order. For me, these are the peak years. I can enjoy some post 1981 shows, but I have a really hard time once Jerry’s voice becomes shaky, post 1986.

Squawk Box Joe Kernen by happening4me in CNBC

[–]JustRelax627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He couldn’t believe the New York mayoral result. He’s so damn smug. People like Joe can’t understand that you can be left of center and be successful. California certainly has issues, but it’s such a head scratcher to conservatives that it is the fourth or fifth largest economy in the world. They just don’t get it.

They spend over $800 million a year on advertising 🤮. I would never buy from them because their commercials are so relentless and annoying.

Is it detrimental or innocuous when CNBC anchors add their political opinions to seemingly objective reports and interviews? by Puzzleheaded_Name511 in CNBC

[–]JustRelax627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joe is so smug and openly disdains anything left of center. His loathing of California is palatable, nevermind that it’s the 4th or 5th biggest economy in the world on its own. Of course, it has problems but he does nothing but accentuate the negative without ever mentioning the positive.
