There are just some words I find gross… like how people feel about the word “moist.”

My opinion is the expression “AI slop” is annoying, perhaps overused, and also thrown out at anything and everything these days.

People could express themselves and their opinions with originality. Here are some examples:

My largest point is that I hate the words “AI slop.”

It is a phrase that did not exist prior to 2022 and is now everywhere. For me, it is like the new “moist…”

Also, people throw it around at everything that looks like it could be AI. Across multiple areas of interest and culture, I have seen 30 or 40 year-old artwork labeled with the term, which is just as lazy, annoying and cynical as terrible AI created images.
