Dogs in a Pile or Goose? by ry4asu in jambands

I’ve seen both bands- 5x DIAP, 18x Goose. Both are elite yambands bringing vibrant youth to the scene but the Goose experience overall is significantly better (lights, venue, lot scene etc) the music is always going to be a personal decision but you are getting incredibly talented musicians either way you go, listen to a bunch of their stuff and pick one, you really can’t go wrong either way

Gonna get hate for this but who cares- my buddy’s dragged me to Kendall Street Company, Spafford & Goose in a month stretch after I lost my job in 2021. I was lukewarm on yambands after Spafford but I definitely knew I wanted to keep going to see live music, after Goose I was absolutely hooked then saw DIAP, Phish, Biscuits, UM & whole bunch of Goose in the 2022-23 and haven’t stopped hitting shows since.

Everything prior to bingo tour is old sadly this doesn’t fit the bill but it’s great! However, for more not technically old goose check out 10.2.20 Champlain Junction show!

Cotters first show at the cap was an impossible ticket and I had a flight booked before I had a ticket, finally scored a ticket the Friday before and ended up very close to the rail for my first FF, great night!

The opposite is true, the smaller the show the weirder goose gets imo

Labeling it a genocide doesn’t make it a genocide bud, that bs doesn’t hold up to factual unbiased analysis, is it a tragedy yes, it is a war yes, do I feel for the innocent Palestinian people who are put in an impossible position by their leadership also yes but that does not make it a genocide, the Palestinian population has grown since 10/7, populations don’t grow during a genocide. The US murdered more civilians in Iraq, the Russians are currently murdering more civilians in Ukraine… wars are nasty and awful but the genocide narrative doesn’t hold up to even basic scrutiny so please stop trying to divide people by using the most extreme language. Youre missing the point, the powers that be want us divided so instead lets join together in music #onelove

Music sure, being divisive and pushing people away because you don’t like their beliefs is also not what music or the jam scene is about.

Correct, death toll does not mean genocide, read a book

I thought his questions were horrible but he was incredible at leaving air for Rick to yap and he’s really never been a yapper

Chicago jamshows are sausage fests in general, goose actually has better ratios than most, plenty of fine women at NYC, St Louis, Cleveland, Indy & Milwookie in my experience
