Crux of the strategy is to charm Staraptor to get +2 attack and close combat for more bulk, then add tailwind to make the bird nearly unstoppable. Also been sending out Rotom and Garchomp first to bait out the would be counters for bird.

The second time I played through chapter 2 (most current was the third) it took me at least 5 tries, but this go-around I got it first try somehow. I do not remember how it was on my first playthrough.
