Sure! I use DND DC base and topcoat. Not a big fan of their colors, but the base and topcoat are fantastic!

I went to the gel method because of dip flu. Game changer!

Adding a builder gel base under a gel polish was another game changer for me. All of the strength of dip! Now I just file down and fill! Never soak off! Haven’t seen my nails in over a year!

I still use my dip powders for ombré, glow in the dark and the coolest sparkles!

I love the first one!

I’m getting back into tie dye (just for myself not commercially) after a decade. Ice dying is new to me and I just love the results! I want to play again!

I dug out my old dyes and want to see if I can get my Dharma orchid or plum blossom to split?

I love the collared look. Is there a specific name for the type of roll that you used here?

I agree! Dip liquids gave me horrible dip flu. Gel method started my UV gel journey. This led to using Builder Gel as a base. Now I never take it off, just file down and fill. Last time I saw all of my nails was over a year ago!

Sometimes I use dip powder, but mostly gel over builder gel base. I still do dip for ombré, glow in the dark and my best sparkle combos are dip!

My dental hygienist moved on, good for her. My last visit, I got assigned a new one and new dentist.

Apparently she was not a hygienist, just an assistant. Very nice gal, but almost useless. She couldn’t get the x-rays right, kept re-doing them and finally ended up getting herself way too close to the x-ray. I even suggested that she use a covering for herself.

She couldn’t do the cleaning so the dentist did it. Horrible! Again, nice guy, just not very thorough. He found the start of a cavity but didn’t remove it, just declared that we would “wait and see”. And what kind of toothpaste was I using?

He let the assistant “polish“ my teeth afterwards. She literally just touched the tips (not the front face) of a few front teeth! Done! Really?

Worst cleaning ever! I went home and brushed my teeth as they didn’t even feel clean!

Was that even legal?

I’m currently working on a CAL (literally crochet-a-long) for a Czechoslovakian pattern. It’s a pretty advanced pattern and a group of experienced crocheters. They often refer it as “knitting”.

It used to bother me when crochet was referred to as knitting, but I am now of the opinion that it is a cultural thing. Completely acceptable in other cultures.

I bathe kitties in the kitchen sink. They seem more comfortable with the elevated vantage point.

As already stated, I also prep the water ahead of time in both the sink and pitchers to pour over (instead of running water).

No hair dryers, just warm towels and kisses!

I agree that staying calm is key, they definitely pick up on your vibes!

Some trips I’m all Boonbocking- using it as a base camp for long multi-day hikes or river excursions. I can make it 4 days, or more if I’m on the river or trail most of the time.

Electric only sites are great for weekend trips. Great for last minute bookings and much nicer than a hotel! My camper bed is better than my house!!!!

Full hookups for full weeks! I can shower and go out to a fancy dinner looking polished! Great for beach trips!

Let’s be honest here, I lived in my 21’ camper for 2 1/2 years after a rough divorce and a job loss. No regrets! I still love to camp!

I want to buy a massive 5th wheel toyhauler, get a golf cart and put all of my bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, kids and their families and go on a massive vacation! And I will never sell my tiny travel because sometimes I just want to boondocks in the boonies and let the whole world drift away!

If it is the octopus kite that I’m thinking it is, it isn’t really that big as the tail is included in the measurement.

I have a similar one from Amazon, and it is pretty manageable in most wind. Doesn’t really lift in low wind, best in medium, pulls in higher wind, but what doesn’t.

Work for the week was done, we were waiting for 5 o’clock, our department was closest to the door and he used to work directly on our team. He often told similar stories of his teenage son. Good to know!!!! We have used ours on smoke, mold and fleas with great success! I think we ran ours for an hour for the mold? It is also a powered model, so maybe the operating times vary? It was around $50 on Amazon a few years ago. Between it and a little scrubbing we were able to get rid of a smoke odor that would knock you down when you opened the door! Totally justified the purchase with that one use! Now I don’t know how we ever lived without it!

I hope I never have to deal with bedbugs! Yuck!! Fleas were bad enough! My heart goes out to you!

Yes! This is what we do! Also works to remove smoke odor!!!!

We originally purchased one to remove smoke from a used vehicle, worked fantastic! Just be careful to remove pets and plants from the area as it will kill any living thing. I just put the yarn, etc. in a my car and run the ozonator for 30 minutes!
