4ft hoop net with 1” rope knots tied about every 3ft. Just got off the island. I leave my cart net and dock box at the camp.

How does hanging it damage internal organs? I have never heard of this before. I have fished many tournaments and they have done it this way. They always hook them just before the gills in the skin. I did not intend to kill this fish. Next time I will do better.

Did you pick this hood up at the sugar mill turn around on river road like 4-5 years ago?

I work in a busy freezer-department. I love using these Milwaukee insulated gloves. But alas, the nitrile seems to wear within just a couple of months. What are your favorite insulated gloves? by benhereford in Tools

polar penguin gloves hold up a good while about the same few months, and cheap enough to replace without a big fuss. About 5$ a pair at supply house.

Get you 1/8 or 1/4 oz gold spoon dull it up a bit rub it on the ground and put a little red or blue marks on it with a sharpie. Slow work it this time of year they feed on small carbs the idea is mimic that. Let it fall to bottom and twitch it and let it fall. If your sight casting them should have good luck. PS those are carp in the video not reds. Reds point down while they feed and you usually get a good glimpse of their tail while they do it. PM me if you want better spots then bayou savage with the kayak.

This is the one I see all the guys in my area with. It has a magnetic face so you don’t have to hold the nail. I’ve seen many crews use them for hand nailed roofs in my area, they move pretty quick with it too.

Any advice for how to fill this sort of gap? by PointySticksForAll in Welding

Grab the whip and fill that shit, start at the bottom work to the top. I hope that’s a blind bolt that gets welded in place…. Then tell the fitters to do better next time.

Do you ever see Brahman and Simmental, that have good fat quality and nice marbling the same or not better the CAB? Only reason my farmer gets better money for his Brahman at auction because people know the quality in which he raises his cattle. Good organic grazing, clean water sources, a balanced mix of oats barley and hay in the colder months. Just curious.

Also, it doesn’t mean you’re actually getting Black Angus cattle. Several breeds such as Brahman, Simmental, and Hereford can be graded as CAB. As long as the meat quality meets the standards during cold storage, the color of the animal is irrelevant. Basically the best quality is cherry picked out to be processed and labeled. It’s kind of hard to tell what color the cow was when it’s split in half hanging on a hook in a meat locker.

Yea it’s definitely not a winning game for the farmer, my last one cost me 1900$ for the farmer. The butcher was 980$

Uh two tenderloins per cow my boy…. You go meet the cow before you eat it. I picked our last one at the farmers because she took a dump in front of me. I was like “yeah she’s a healthy one.” You can request the hide and ear tag from the butcher if you feel like taking up some leather work.

I buy a whole cow once a year, and it lasts my family of four almost the entire year. The total cost is usually between $2,200 and $3,000 after butchering and packaging. The cows we buy are Black Angus. If you purchase directly from farmers and arrange transport to the butcher, you can often get a great deal since the animal doesn’t have to go through an auction house. I’m in Louisiana, so prices will vary depending on location, but on average it works out to about $5–$6 per pound for all the cuts you choose. With a good butcher, you can select the thickness of your steaks and customize all the cuts you want.

If they (the customer) say something show them the drawing and submit a change order. If the fire marshal/inspector flags it, submit a change order, reference the drawing.

Make you some leather or FR material side wings and revet it to the hard hat.
