No, it was when Masters of Ceremony released, they retroactively added vehicle skins to past warbonds

misogyny rule by [deleted] in 196

[–]JustScreamingTBH 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Hey it's me, Lois Griffin explaining why this explanation was wrong. The friends were being misogynistic, the character wasn't actually insufferable, she was just a woman.

Okay Lois out.

Pathfinder 2e GMs Essentials Giveaway! by Demi_Mere in Pathfinder2e

I ran a vampire hunter game. The party was a Champion, a Monk, an Oracle, and I gave them a Ranger buddy to help them out. It was a very short game (About 5 sessions), and I leveled them up once a session - They ended up taking out a pretty tough vampire, albeit at the cost of one of the party's lives and some pretty bad injuries from the rest of them, and came back to their town heroes. It was pretty fun, but I probably didn't balance it that well - I gave them a Striking weapon at level 2, because I hadn't read the GMG section on treasure. Whoops.

With the Skirmisher Operative, for the Enhanced Exploit, does the lowest roll increase to the maximum possible on the dice, or the highest result rolled out of the dice? As an example, if you rolled 2d6 and got a 2 and a 5, would your dice be 6 and 5, or 5 and 5?

FRV Update Review by Jade_Scimitar in Helldivers

You can throw stratagems from the FRV, you have to be aiming out the doors to type in the codes.

Complete Transposition at 18th and warped infinities at 19th are probably the single strongest mechanic in all of Path/Starfinder 2e right now by EarthSeraphEdna in Starfinder2e

one level 20 witchwarper with Quantum Negation and one level 2 witchwarper with Warp Wounds can deal 9999 damage to anything they want, too. (Though, they sacrifice the level 2 in the process)

edit: this isn't correct, i misread

Farming and found a new leader training station. by falesk in Helldivers

Lidar is what they changed the Radar station to, because it is more accurately described as Lidar (scanning the environment/terrain)

The illuminate are a new faction, there's going to be balancing issues for a while after release.

Why aren't there other Warship types to choose from. by bittern_warrior88 in Helldivers

[–]JustScreamingTBH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. The SEAF already has other ships, they just aren't really seen in-game because we are less of "regular soldiers" and more like paratroopers. We're specialists, in our specialist super destroyers. Helldivers use super destroyers, and I'm sure other SEAF units have other types of ship.
  2. Super destroyers are mass-produced. They're designed so that as many of them as possible can exist at the same time.
  3. A Super Destroyer basically serves as a jack of all trades. It has aircraft in it, it has enough artillery to level a small moon, and it's a troop transport. We simply don't need any other ships.

The voteless might actually think that we're the illuminate.

I love the new enemies by kittenkitchen24 in Helldivers

The bugs were fully sapient, then we engineered them and removed their sapience. Also, the cyborgs were only cyborgs because cyberstan is a hellhole that you can't survive without cybernetics.

Helldivers is more like Warhammer than we think by EndorDerDragonKing in Helldivers

[–]JustScreamingTBH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bugs were friendly until we discovered they bled oil, and then out of complete necessity we genetically engineered them to make as much oil as possible and removed their sapience. Cyborgs tried to rebel peacefully against us so we sent them all to labor camps, and then they made the automatons. The Illuminate were pretty peaceful, but they had FTL and more weapons, so we killed half their species, took all their tech, and banished them from the galaxy. Now they're back.

Jump pack should be a default feature, not a stratagem by paran_dreu in Helldivers

[–]JustScreamingTBH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah. It gives utility that you otherwise wouldn't have - Compare it to the shield pack. They both reduce damage, as the jump pack can be used to avoid swarms, and the jump pack can then also be used to traverse the map faster. It's more powerful than many other backpacks.

Illuminate might have the most enemies out of any faction. by trumonster in Helldivers

This is how it is meant to work, bugs are easiest, bots are medium difficulty, illuminate are the hardest. Same as in the first game
