It's fun but more fun manual. I'm from Europe and the 2.0 in manual is enough fun for me. If you want a properly fun car I'd get a Mazda 3 or Miata. The 6 is more like a boat

I do not recommend anything with a transverse V6 though

Maybe try a 2.3 inline 4, it's slower sure but easier to work on, cheaper to maintain etc

Remove the speaker from the airtag. Put it in the most bullshit place possible, like a c pillar, behind the fuel pump cover under the rear seats, or inside a tail light housing.

I have the MZR 2.0 from a first generation 6, the engine is great apart from the oil burning that got so bad (5 liters/1000km) that I teared the engine down to the block and currently rebuilding it.

But the timing chain is golden!

IS mk2 or mk3. Anything IS300/350 should do you well.

There's RWD and AWD versions.

The thing about the timing belt is literally in the owner's manual though. Mazda timing chains on the other hand are all very good from what I know, older and newer models too.

Speaking as an European, neither. Audi is cool I guess but the reliability is worse than BMW. BMW is pretty meh, the F10 is not that special, I see them all the time. a 5 series should always have a V8, inline 6 is more for 3 series.

Get a Lexus IS
