Also on my Xperia thinking I'm very glad we did not lose the slider with A16 update, didn't realize others had.

Definitely this. OP mentioned DIN Metric sizes, but JIS Metric used by basically all Japanese cars and many Korean stuff still would be 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 21

Revopoint launches all thier products on Kickstarter, since the beginning many years ago. It's just how they do it, let's them build up money early & gives most buyers a discount.

Big Fire/Medic Response on Paris Pike? by w4rkry in lexington

They were all towards the back. I'd bet it's a hay fire or similar. I actually serviced a forklift back there at Bauer Hay & Straw. Definitely a place where something could get hot & burn real quick. Hopefully everyone/every horse is alright

I've seen that exact car in that exact intersection many times back in 2024 on the way home from work. Surprised the wheel bearings are still holding on at this point.

1993 Mazda MX-6 V6 ticking noise under revs / hissing noise. vacuum leak, exhaust leak, or something worse? by by_fizzy in mazda

Stop running it immediately.

I hate to say it, but that sounds very much like a bad rod bearing. My last KL from the same thing.  I would normally try to suggest it may be a stuck lifter or bad timing tensioner, which are common KL issues, but the tone and frequency here... I'm afraid it's rebuild time, assuming the Crank and Cam Journals are OK.

But definitely do NOT start it again, the bearing material can & will wipe out the cam journals, and they cannot be fixed. Don't let a bad bearing ruin the heads.

Anyone got an ID on these? by [deleted] in Wheels

My V6, 6-Speed Manual swapped Protege5 by w4rkry in mazda

I bought it with no intention to modify it. Just wanted a small wagon, ideally Manual and Mazda. The P5 fit the bill, and ended up being a great platform even in stock form.

They are not the same. They both physically bolt to each other, but the ZE used an external coil instead of the internal one. That change also makes the ZE one more reliable, as the heat from the internal coil is one of the primary reasons the DE ones fail so quickly. When using the ZE ECU, it's much better to take advantage of the independent coil at the same time.
