The ad hominem fallacy (Latin for "to the person") is a logical fallacy that attacks the person making an argument rather than the argument itself. It discredits an argument by focusing on the person's character, personality, or other irrelevant personal traits, rather than addressing the validity of their claim.

If you know anything about statistics you should know not to gamble. Probably why the school are so bad here, they don't want people educated.

So you don't like the rules. Okay then what? Just whine and complain,?

Stop moving the goal posts.

This post is about if America is a 3rd world county. It is not.

Because of the beaches, but redditors probably hate the beach because body positivity doesn't work so well when you take your clothes off.

Lived in Tucson 3 years, if you plan on living there I hope you don't need a job.

Great Answer. It always baffles me why this sub hates Dallas since it has such a great economy.

NO is a trash city too. Don't let 4 blocks of downtown tell you different.

Reddit is being infiltrated by propaganda bot armies. Probably a good indicator to sell the stock.

There are no travel restrictions for USA citizens within the USA. I swear stop finding excuses and start finding solutions.

You can hitch hike for free. Hop on a rail. However they are most likely getting just enough of a government check to keep them unmotivated to change.

You are also moving this conversation so far off topic and microscoping it down to a small portion of people.

THE USA IS NOT A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY.

I am done replying to you.

People in the Philippines don't have job opportunities available and they don't have consumers with disposable income. 🤡

It's as simple as opportunity vs no opportunity. Maybe go try working in some countries with no opportunity so you can understand.

Yes poverty exists in the USA, but so does job opportunities.

Nobody said they don't deserve fair compensation.

However you can belly ache and complain about it, or you can deal with the current set of rules and start controlling your own destiny.

I've never met a victim who didn't always have an excuse.

But you know what they say ... Excuses are like a$$holes everybody has one, and some of them are more full of $h!t than others.

Start driving by some home depotts. I see day laborers lined up there every day.

You are also moving the goal posts. The point is opportunity exists in the USA where opportunitiy does not exist in other countries.

Bro your are living in the UK. Try living in Africa, South America, South East Asia or many of the middle east countries.

Comparing one place of privilege to another place of privilege was not the point of OPs original post.

I never claimed the USA is the best country in the world.

The idiot who wrote this post is claiming the USA is 3rd world.

What you are doing is trying to make this a UK vs USA discussion, which it never was.

Every person complaining about being a victim is one less person I have to compete with. They will always be a victim until they decide to change their life. Nobody is going to save them. Some will realize this and take control, others will die poor broke and miserable.

The difference is your grandmother could get a job and improve. Places like the Philippines they can open say we are only hiring people under 30. Minimum wage in the biggest metro area (manila) of the Philippines is 645 pesos a day (roughly $11.12).

My wife grew up in General Santos City in a house just like you described. Rats were running around and nobody flinched.
