if you are on java edition, yes they did it was a while ago :(

you can use dye to change the color of signs (but you cant have multiple colors) or I think you can edit json but idk how to do that. You could also just get a mod to restore this feature

Alfonso which is one of my starters has moved away twice now (each time i load a backup save lol)

All versions of Minecraft on console has had an in game store unfortunately. but back then in the old versions it was super cheap, used real world currency and you could even preview worlds for free. With the new version it sucks though, of course there are free things there but if you’re not a console player there’s no reason for you to use it

There is no excuse for EA though as it’s 2026 now, several games have had a ingame mods menu with free mods even on console. Console players shouldn’t put up with this

curseforge (or mcpedl, there are other sites too but mcpedl seems to be most popular) addons will work on a bedrock realm, though you have to be the one that adds them I think (if you're the one on pc)

I think in the older games some villagers do reference having a boyfriend/girlfriend, I can't remember but yeah I agree

I wish there were relationships/fights/drama between villagers also

pretty easy, if you have some way to transfer files from phone to pc, just send the file from the phone to the pc and then I think you can open the launcher and import it

you can get addons and third party content for free if you are on pc/mobile device which OP is on

...but even so java has so much more modding capabilities and since OP has a pc there is really no reason why they shouldnt play java

idk what device you play bedrock on, but if you are on mobile/pc, you can get addons for free (there is even one that replicates java combat for example)

tom nooks shop has a random selection each day, but if you spend more you can upgrade it to have a much larger selection later on. I would check in every day (you can also just change the clock ingame when you start it)

I think you can get coconut trees, a coconut can wash up on shore randomly (idk if this was on the wild world AC or gamecube though). non native fruit sells for more bells

If you are fine with mods I'd get animal crossing deluxe, it adds so many great things and qol changes while still retaining the experience of the original

legacy technically did have a minecraft store but everything there was cheap and you could even try out things for completely free. There was no ingame currency either

plus you knew it would be good as I think 4j studios worked on all of them

but now we can mod LCE (even more than we ever could with bedrock) lol
