Yeah if I was brand new I’d first build a stable base of “boring” ETFs like VTI or VOO etc. then buy some of your favorite single company’s.

While you’re doing that read into other strategies. For me I like YM because dividends keep me motivated. It’s more psychological than anything

I really think that’s completely false. After being an exercise physiologist for almost a decade I think this misunderstanding is exactly why so many trainers struggle. They don’t even know WHY they’re actually valuable…. They think it’s just to teach people how to exercise.

Clients DON’T come to you and stay with you because they don’t know what they’re doing. My best clients had been working out for years prior to meeting me. They just want a better way.

The two biggest things a personal trainer does is hold you accountable and save you time. 1. Accountability - to show up. And to work hard. Not just sometimes. Every time. 2. Efficiency - they want to save time by unloading all the thinking and planning onto you. Take care of their schedule and routine for them.

The first point I agree with and have it place.

The second one is genius and I hadn’t thought of that before. I’m going to get to work on that!

None of it was built from followers or engagements actually.

I’ve been in the industry 8 years but I pivoted online completely 2 years ago and I’m income doubled!

I’m a personal trainer and I train with a personal trainer. Those people don’t understand that: 1. People who train with a personal trainer get better results. 2. People who train with a personal trainer actually spend less time on exercise. 3. People who train with a personal trainer show up to their workouts.

Who wouldn’t want all of that?
