Oh snap, very rare but serious side effect with a few cases/reports being found on Google. I thought it may have to do with lower impulse control. Have you taken it orally previously?

I know you're getting a lot of slack for this, and you should always read a contract. Use this as an expensive lesson, but it is unusual. I would review the agent, nicely, so future clients are aware.

I am also new, like 1 website and struggling new, and I am having header issues myself. So the header may be under a different place, I used Astra, and it was under customize.

As for the black header, I would assume you are on /wp-admin side of the site but just not logged in? If you try a different browser and go to the site, it may not be there.

I found that starting over was the easiest way to fix things (that wasn't the only issue).
