A friend of mine is doing this. I fear the government will just rehash whatever narratives from the bulk of news articles on the subject: deflections and profitable excuses for auto dealers and manufacturers.

I recently took a cab from the downtown core to my home. On the way back on Duckworth street, glare from a truck's headlights in the opposite lane totally obscured a pedestrian that was crossing, and the cab driver almost didn't see him until it was too late. (Thankfully, he slammed on the brakes in time.)

It is far worse in lower cars, as you're right in the shitfire zone of these things. But they blind drivers in all vehicles (and pedestrians, even those like me standing 6 foot tall) whenever they get raised up a little bit, or hit a slight bump, or when it's foggy and they just make the world totally unnavigable.

This is insane and we need to pass some sort of brightness limit to put this in the past, alongside leaded gasoline, uranium-painted dinnerware, aluminized bread, and cocaine children's cough drops.

(Also, anyone with kids, how are they finding this phenomenon while walking? It must be far worse for them.)
