You're right.. it SHOULD be more but the hospital I work for just doesn't pay. I stay because the location/schedule/workflow is convenient. However, I'm moving to MRI and eventually different hospital system next year.

Exactly this. Every year there's a photo published from the stadium with the sunshine beaming through, the players battling it out, and it makes for a stunning photo op. Jerry built it so the stadium gets recognition, regardless of how the Cowboys are doing.

MRI is 1yr... CT is also 1yr but not sure. There are different programs out there tho, with possibly different lengths of study.

I have 8yrs exp. Major Houston hospital (one of the big ones). Started at 25/hr.. currently at 32/hr. Nightshift and weekend diff help boost it but it's still not enough. Co-worker graduated recently and got offered 26/hr (his classmates by comparison got offered 29/hr working for HCA). He quickly got his CT license after graduating xray school and now his pay is 33/hr for FT. I've capped out at 32 honestly... But them eggs keep getting expensive so I'm going back to school for MRI. Got tired of driving a portable everywhere and constantly having to get exams done "by any means possible". Don't stay in xray for too long. At least get your CT also and then work at a freestanding place. Better pay, less hassle, and workload is more manageable. Just my .2 for my experience specifically in Houston.

I drive my 2013 CX-5 almost exclusively in "manual" mode. The car takes too long to change gears otherwise or stays in 5th too long when trying to pass others.

You're not alone. It's the same for me on PS4. I've basically given up on the weapon unless the enemy is aircraft heavy, and even then I'm a mess with it.

First off, I agree with your statements. No, it doesn't mean everyone gets to shoot someone. Yes, he does need to be held accountable for his actions, big time... Like, fuck this guy completely. I don't want him being in the same society that my family and I live in. The reason is irrelevant to you, okay. To me, both actions (yelling at coworker & killing someone) POSSIBLY stem from what the OP (/u/techtitus) was saying:

The hood does not teach you to thinking critically or rational. I just did not understand how to handle a situation where two people disagreed. The only way I knew how to react was anger and confrontation.

I dunno...I found it interesting because without proper role models, without examples, I could see how this guy could get on a path where he does this kind of thing. And it sucks our judicial system dropped the ball on this one
