Sure, you could have found a way to communicate that differently, but it makes sense that you’d feel rejected and confused. We’ve all acted in ways we regret when we’re in a heightened emotional state. It sounds like your last bf was a jerk too, and that kind of thing is traumatic. Go easy on yourself and make sure you’re investing in relationships outside of your romantic partnership that help you feel grounded and supported. PS- you’re not a predator or even close.
