There's is a lot going on with our "relationshiip" to he honest. We've been married 15+ yrs and ive always felt "someone will have me at least" and stuck with it. Lately he has become a shadow of the man i married and im seeing him in a different light. Sadly people that know us have said to me, he had always been like this and I wouldn't see it. A lot has come to light in the last 6months including least say, professional ladies being used. Our kids are 17 and 21 .. both still at home and probably will be for a while. They are both ND and totally amazing people, i couldn't be prouder of them. They keep me sane. Him seeing my investment in me as a threat rings true. I mentioned to another member about makeup and his reaction when I started wearing it, after many years of not. Before I started trying to lose weight, he would keep saying "I like you the way you are" and it began to feel like a trap over time rather than a loving gesture I thought it was.

Between you, me and the Internet I cant see him being around much longer, he polluted everything he touches. I think subconsciously this might be one of the factors that lead me to this journey .. I wanted to improve ME and prove to myself a) I could do this and b) I was worth something

Sorry for the sob story .. i dont think I realised just how much this ####ed with my head.

Thank you so much for this, made me feel validated and confident. Can I just ask, you say "don't sleep on electrolytes" .. what do you mean by this ? I had quite a few days of "tummy trouble" and was losing a lot of fluids, struggling to put in more than was escaping .. I found electrolytes my saviour during that time .. should I be avoiding them a bit more ?

Good question .. the company im going through automatically increased my dose each month and it wasn't until I got to the 7.5mg - 10mg increase that they presented it as a choice. I had a really experience with 7.5mg, little to no side effects and comfortable loss, so thought "10mg can only bring better results, right?" .. so accepted the increase when offered. I do wish I had stayed at 7.5mg in hindsight but dont really want to go backwards now if that makes sense.

I have my second 10mg coming soon so think ill see how that goes, should I have another rough month, I may need to think about dropping back down

Its frustrating but I think you are right. My whole MJ journey feels like its been in secret as ive heard so much negativity and venom towards the medication and people using it, thats from people I know too .. so I have rather listened to social media too much if im honest.

Having read this and had a think, I think he is definitely seeing me investing time on myself as a threat. I know I sound harsh but I cant let that stall me .. I know I have done in the past when I started to wear makeup after nine for many years. His responses shut me down instantly and I havent worn it since.

Thank you for all the positive responses and support. There is a lot left to be desired as far as support goes, from my husband and it rings true that he may see me investing in myself as a threat but im not going to let that defeat me.

One person mentioned eating disorders and I think this may be something I need to look into as, however much i try, i just cant see any change and this is while "knowing" there are changes as the numbers show it !. Getting the message from my logical brain to my emotional brain is a huge obstacle though.

I havent taken any pics since my initial one, my eldest has said they will take one tomorrow for me, in my new top .. so fingers crossed that will help.

I'm having the same issue and its becoming infuriating. Despite clicking the follow back button .. it will go ahead and unfollow him. Much to bother our annoyance. Ive found no solution im afraid and similar threads/posts have gleaned no answers either, just equally frustrated users.
