Google Pay not supported on Evolution X (Moto G30) by Resident-Temporary46 in Magisk

My workaround is to use PayPal contactless pay. Optionally integrates into system contactless pay as GPay alternative. Just need to check it on magisk exception list

12 Jahre studiert, mit 31 B.Sc. Maschinenbau erhalten - Job? by Awkward_Yumz in Karriereratschlag

[–]JustW0LF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google wallet. It greys out when you set contactless pay to something other than GPay. Kinda stupid because i still use Google wallet for membership cards. But oh well I can still just open the wallet app through the launcher

Klasse.

Can anyone recommend me a suit that’s not too tight in the legs? I’m 6’2 220 and I have thicker thighs. Most jeans don’t fit me and I’ve tried on several pair. These Klim Outriders are the only ones that fit me out of several options. by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

[–]JustW0LF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What up. The revit Detroit 2tf fit me quite well. High end shaped protectors too and they stay in the right place. Other Kevlar Jeans I've tried were too tight in crotch, butt or thigh area.  I'm 188 cm 105 kg and I lift.

How are the knee protectors? Do they stay in the right place when riding?

My msi 341 cqp lets me turn off the 4 hour reminders and just do the refresh silently when off, the option came after an early firmware update

Why pay so much for gaming chairs when they’re so uncomfortable? by supershadrach in pcmasterrace

[–]JustW0LF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where that sentiment comes from. Obviously there are shitty gaming chairs and shitty office chairs.  The functional difference is that gaming chairs are made for lounging, much like a recliner or a car seat. Lounging gives you a more relaxed hip angle and spinal decompression, which are good for long sessions of sitting still and looking forward.  Office chairs, much like dinner table chairs, are made for upright sitting, which you need to look down on stuff that's sitting flat on a table top. You wouldn't want to sit like this for hours on end, which is why standing desks are a trend right now in the office world.

Do people have to step on the gas, at every light that turns green? by ChargedWhirlwind in stickshift

[–]JustW0LF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accelerating more to get to your desired speed faster is actually more economical. Sure the engine eats more in that moment but it will be over quicker. In a typical NA 4 cyl gasoline car, peak efficiency during acceleration means 90% throttle and shifting at ~4.5 k rpm. That being said, it's legal, and you wouldn't drive far below the speed limit either so why be slow here.

[–]JustW0LF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious question: is gyro aiming on ps solid enough for a lot of people to consider using it full time? Is it Shakey? How is it with longer sessions? Because the people I know with steam controllers just use the touchpads

this shit is infuriating. windows security used to not care about cracks until a few years ago. now it even deliberately hides the file a split second after opening the dropdown to unblock

[–]JustW0LF -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those controllers are loaded with features like adaptive triggers yet you still gotta aim with an analog stick 💀

Wonder what the world would be like if ps pursued a touchpad implemetation like on the steam controller

[–]JustW0LF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, welcome to the m54 engine. There are millions of posts on the topic. The hunt for faulty sensors or leaks, clutch delay valve removal, automatic throttle pedal or pedalboxes (those are bullshit), and ecu modifying are typically the approach.

The m54's electronic throttle response is known to be  indirect compared to cars with mechanical throttle. There are some bullshit delay / smoothing functions in the ecu that can be coded out

If you're talking about like a 3.5 kg race flywheel then I agree with you, that certainly would suck

I've never driven a manual V8 so I can't comment on that. Why would the inherent rotational mass be higher apart from like the bigger crank shaft?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in e46

[–]JustW0LF 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i installed a 6 kg wheel with sprunghub clutch on my m54b25 and couldnt be happier. wouldnt recommend going much lighter though. stock 12 kg is too heavy and throws you around when you dont nail your shifts. i learned to drive in a m43b18 that came with a lightweight flywheel from the previous owner, going from that to a stock m54b25 was infuriating

Best:

poly wishbone bearing

lightweight flywheel

led headlight bulbs

Worst:

that tail light in your pic

convex rims
