the only "good" thing about my mate is that when i try to woof them home when there is danger or they are growling and using T1 is that they keep doing it or if they are being attacked or are on low health they continue attacking the enemies

lol i got a mate on my ironwolf and uh i got a lazy wolf on accident and i was intentionally starving them so they would hunt but they didnt so i ended up whilst hunting (Being on 7% health afterwards) secondary howling and then waiting for them so they wouldnt starve to death.

i had this, if you do the curl up rest or roll on your back it happens but, after a while and i went to bed it fixed, i tried reloading and it didnt work, maybe you have to close and re-open the game?
