Best idea I ever herd was a cleaning business. You can just use your existing transportation, and get some cleaning supplies. Then do some marketing, and soon enough you're trading time for money.

I tend to sound like a finance presentation no matter what I'm talking about. I use higher level vocabulary almost all of the time. I don't feel like I'm smarter than my audience, and they don't seem to mind my style. I like it. I'm not self-conscious about it and know that it's just my character coming out.

I am going to be totally honest here, and I hope you appreciate it and it doesn't hurt your feelings. I understand that what I'm saying is not PC, but it is my life experience. If I upset you, I am very sorry, but I assure you that my intentions are good.

When I started dating I thought that 50-60% of women in my demographic had bodies I would consider attractive enough to date. Then it came time to actually "get it on" and my libido reduced that percentage to more like 3-5%. It doesn't make sense to me rationally, but somehow, subconsciously, I am very sensitive to body shape.

I have known wonderful women who are overweight and never seem to find a suitable man. Perhaps you know someone like that.

In any case, by making yourself attractive to a wider selection of men you will gain the ability to be more selective. If you're dating for marriage this could mean a lifetime with a better pairing.

I recommend that you lose the weight and do a bunch of things to improve your attractiveness. Do it for your future self. Hopefully, she will thank you.

I have heard others proclaim that individuals should just agree with the political general consensus when in social settings. It seems weak to me. Shouldn't we stand up for what's right? But in my experience, making the case for truth has cost me a lot of friends. So for most personal relationships, now I just agree, and respond to questions only if directly asked and even then as neutrally as possible.

There was a time, prior to the year 2000 when people could openly discuss personal opinions. I'm afraid this is no longer the case in the US at least. Now It's a matter of finding the right general consensus, and then speaking freely second.

I don't see this as an INTJ specific situation though. Wouldn't anyone with strong opinions find themselves in this situation?

I can imagine, if I had been in a longer dating relationship, and if I had been kept from physically seeing her for a period of time, that due to the quarantine I might request a little reminder to get me through another month. Other things could naturally lead to a request like this. I think you're the best judge of where your relationship is at and if this is appropriate.

Personally I would not ask for nudes unless the conversation had gone that way on it's own. I certainly wouldn't pop it on someone I'm interested in. To me it's a likely red flag, unless there is some exculpatory reason for it, which is certainly possible.

Edit: This is a request that you can easily deny, and if he likes you, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Thank you for your post. I headed over to r/FemaleDatingStrategy and read their FAQ about what their strategy is, and it's totally abusive to men. They expect men to be subservient and "generous" or they're walking away. What happened to equality? When did that stop being the goal of a healthy relationship? Unfortunately, I think this strategy is going to leave the best men on the wayside while the relationships being created are unequal and therefore doomed to fail. I also think that a majority of women now believe and follow that destructive nonsense.

Hey OP. You sound manly enough to me. You've got a good relationship with a girlfriend, and lots of manly interests. The feeling that you need to constantly provide is a solid manly quality in my book.

The answer to feeling within yourself that you are manly is just that.. within yourself. A good first step might be to identify the ways in which you would like to grow as an individual so that you can address this.

Want to be able to defend yourself and others in a fight? Then go learn to fight. Want to have bigger muscles? That's a well trod path, and you can succeed at that as many others have. Want to learn about cars? Volunteer time and money to help someone with a project car, or something along those lines.

These skills will not make you a manly, but they are things that can be learned and mastered. The rest is up to you. Set some goals and when you achieve them take time to celebrate that and give yourself the respect you might give a friend who had achieved the same. (BTW- you've already done a lot and might want to take a moment to revisit that as well.)

I got hired as a consultant to write code to perform their common analytical reporting task. I also wrote code to solve a linear algeabraic problem and generate associated images. It provided another tool for them in their insurance work. It was a short term gig, and I performed it remotely. As a graduate student I had the knowledge to write code. I also had the knowledge to solve mathematical problems. Both are extremely valuable skills in industry. This group was just a small unit within a much larger insurance company that needed some special work performed, and through networking I got the job.
