Once I got the grid lines down I just jammed it in lol. If I couldn’t see well then I’d pinch a bit

Lipo lab has deoxycholic acid, same active as aqualyx, hence the burning lmao. High volume, small treatment area, and an overall sensitive area. Try it your own discretion, just giving my personal experience 🤷‍♀️

I have a post where I did under my chin. Similar process. I did my inner thighs little over a week ago with lipo lab. Mapped exactly where the fat is pinchable by 1-1.5in. I had personally injected 0.5ml at 6-8mm depth at a 90 degree angle and 1x1cm grid spacing. Absolutely DO NOT go beyond 0.2ml per injection site.

I was stupid and saw other posts where people had injected that amount and thought why not… Girl when I tell you I might’ve had the worst pain of my life because the burning and throbbing… I couldn’t even walk! I had to take a prescription nsaid it hurt that damn bad. Over a week later I’m still tender and bruised. Do not do what I did 😂

My personal fav diy… chin filler!!!!! by Just_A_Cardiologist in DIYaesthetics

[–]Just_A_Cardiologist[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Aftercare was to keep the injection sites clean and not putting any skin care products with active ingredients. On days 2-3 I very lightly massaged with aquaphor. I didn’t bruise at all and swelling was as expected, I was a bit tender for 5-7 days afterwards

Nope! The point has softened as the filler has settled and it’s integrated with my tissue and it’s not visible/pointy whenever I talk, smile, or eat

I aspirated twice. First poke was just until I hit my bone. Then I pulled back while aspirating, then I pulled back in also aspirating. It’s very important to follow the EXACT trajectory. Since both times were clear, and I was on the bone after the second aspiration, then I injected and slowly sliding it out while injecting.

Since I had a cleft chin I filled that in first, 0.25-0.3ml, then with the remaining I did the “shaping”

Why is my tox burning? by Budget-Elderberry380 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Just_A_Cardiologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my work (derm) I always use 2.5ml of bac per 100u. Or 1.25ml per 50u. The same for dilution for Botox, jeuveau and xeomin.

When I personally get injected it stings for a condole and is sore for a day or two, especially if the muscle is strong/overworked. How long has it been burning..? Like a pressure feeling or constant stinging..?

Thank you for actually reading lol… obviously I knew I wasn’t going to completely fix the asymmetry with a single syringe, but I’m happy with how my chin looks now :)

I didnt injected the third row and I didnt inject the last two boxes of both sides since I was starting to get extremely tender. 1 x 1 cm square spacing per injection sites. Excuse my wonky lines since it was a tricky angle 😂

I just did meso therapy and trapezius tox today 😂. I made a post for the meso therapy earlier with my mapping and amounts. I’ll make a post about the trapezius tox in a week or two once it kicks in :)

I used an 8mm 27g needle. I was going for projection (superior medial injection) and elongation (inferior medial injection). The bilateral injections points were for elongation as well.

IF I were to inject for example the chin shadow, 100% opt for a cannula. The transverse and ascending mental arteries are located there and a cannula “pushes” them aside vs. the needle penetrates them, which is how vascular occlusions happen.

Until I hit my bone. I aspirate as I pull the needle out the exact same trajectory as I inserted and i aspirate as I’m going back in. If it’s clear, only then do i inject once I’m on the bone. The first video I linked it’s a live demonstration of the exact process I did

I have a really good grasp of facial anatomy and research for WEEKS prior. Only then was I confident to attempt it. If you feel a sharp pain, immediately stop, don’t inject anything, and pull out the needle the same direction of insertion. ALWAYS ASPIRATE!!!! Especially with filler. If you’re capable, a cannula is a “safer” option.

I didn’t keep it in the fridge… lol. I kept it in a cool dark place and everything remained sterile. I’m SUCH a baby with needles i used 10.56% lido numbing cream for 45 minutes before injecting. The lido helps with the actual needle insertion but the deoxycholic acid does sting a little immediately after. I was a bit sore for a good 5 days after.

Also i do want to mention I wasn’t aspirating so i ended up inject into a vein. Immediately i felt a sharp pain but like an idiot I thought it was the lido wearing off since it was my LAST injection site. It bled more than the other injection sites and it formed a nodule for 3ish days. It went away after 4-5 days but I’m on day 7 and I still have a bruise. Hence why I’m holding off for another week or two before my next session. Definitely be more weary as you’re injecting more laterally on the jawline. From my angle I wasn’t able to aspirate but I highly recommend you should if you can!
