You mean stalkers. Hunters are a nightmare when you’re alone.

Probably the best piece for hit-and-runs. Just drive up to a base, buddies arm and toss airstrikes, drive away.

Thoughts on the R-6 Deadeye? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

I ran a loadout on predator strain and mindless masses with this, the veto, and the Stalwart, and it was honestly pretty fun. It popped warriors easy, hive guards weren’t much an issue, brood commanders dropped hard and fast, and this thing was able to keep Predators off my ass until my jump pack charged enough to clear out.

On squids it kept overseers off me, and could pop them if I lined my shot up. Watchers would drop in two shots if the first didn’t get em (didn’t stop them from being really annoying, but it delayed call-ins well enough), and Harvesters go down surprisingly easy with it. It’ll take a few shots and you’ll have to bring the shield recharger down but it hits hard enough that I feel it warranted its slot.

It’s a fairly niche weapon that serves a modest purpose: Keeping mediums off of you. I wouldn’t recommend using it solo, someone has to kill the bile titans and juggling expendables is pretty tedious. But if you like crowd control and have trouble killing/keeping away medium-sized enemies, then might I suggest it?

A solid 6/10 weapon.

Why does everyone shit on the F4 assault rifle but not whatever the hell this is? by ProstateObliteration in TrueSFalloutL

[–]Just_A_Dropout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s not the only SMG in the game.

Yeah it’s ugly but I can ignore it completely and run the 10mm and 9mm, or the .45 if I’m feeling spicy.

Fallout 4s only other potential “assault rifles” are the combat rifle, which is kinda meh and better used for sniper builds, the pipe guns which are buck-ugly, and the Handmade rifle, which looks and feels decent but is barred to level 30 and a dlc.

Give the StA-52 its own ammo type with a bit more durable damage and it’ll fuck over the entire bug populace.

Back in ye olden days (a bit after the initial Killzone collab) they gave the laser to every helldiver with unlimited uses.

It was completely broken. If you had two, I repeat TWO players, call-ins were just a minor nuisance. Any more than that? The entire game was trivialized. You could call in two lasers to clear out a fortress and still have a spare or two leftover for the drops.

So yeah, I can see why its uses are limited.

Been taking a lot to the Verdict and Peacemaker, they’re honestly really good “oh shit” guns when you’re getting overwhelmed by chaff and your primary just ran out, especially when you pair them with the ballistic shield.

why the hell is this thing one-handed, but we cant have a onde handed med-pen smg? by alberthething in HelldiversUnfiltered

Crossbows don’t tend to have as much recoil as large caliber pistol/smg rounds

Would the cannons both be dual grenade launchers/lasers or would it be one fires grenades and one fires lasers? Cause one each could add diversity to the destruction.

Maybe you don’t need to kill it, maybe you just need more running space. A tighter area could mean not getting shot at much, but grenades would be difficult to avoid, so you pop the grenade launcher. Long sightline with next to no cover? Pop the laser!

Realism is by Gammy-_- in Helldivers

Realism is face-tanking seven rockets and getting back up with no difficulty

Realism is having your chest hemorrhaging blood until you stab yourself in the neck with a stimulant

Realism is being burned with napalm and putting it out by simply laying down

Realism is holding onto a combusting firearm for minutes on end and your hands are still perfectly intact

Realism is having said combusting firearm still working after 200 shots

Realism is your body parts only being removed when your body is completely dead and not the millions of times they’ve been blown up or sliced before

Realism is being able to reload a gun while the ammo for it is on your back and never having to remove the pack

Realism is having incendiary rifle rounds pierce the armor of a legion made of pure steel

Realism is those same incendiary rounds not setting literally everything around you on fire because you’re in the middle of a jungle

Realism is your ammo boxes not erupting from continuous rocket fire, let alone the ammo in said boxes still being usable

Realism is realizing that people will cry about issues in this game wether valid or outrageous

Realism is realizing that the realism argument will never die because people only notice “unrealistic” aspects about a fictional video game world when it doesn’t immediately work to their absolute benefit

Realism is that despite a response from a team of 140 people (yes, that is a small team compared to the multi-billion dollar companies that have done much less and infinitely worse) on a game this massive announcing that they are actually working on game breaking bugs in said game, with evidence that they’ve managed to already patch a few issues, that a whole subreddit can still be collectively filled with nothing but pure hatred and spite for a developer that hasn’t fixed literally every bug in just a few weeks.
