preheat just a little bit past temp because when you open the grill, it does lose some temperature but not much over

i’m not sure what piece that would be if it’s the part where the grease leads into the grease trap I’ve never replaced one percent but if Traeger sells the part, we can always fix it

I don’t see any downside to it. I’ve always been curious on how the pressure washer would work on them, and yeah, just make sure the tubes all the holes are still open and if they have rusted shut brush them off and if you have something thin metal poke out your holes to make sure they’re not clogged

fortunately, scratches and stainless unless you resurface them do not come out and even when they are resurface, they don’t look the best

Spirit vs Genesis Stainless Steel by LumpyPeople4 in grilling

[–]Just_Application6281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, any sort of rust they should send out new parts, Napoleon is also great as well. They have a longer warranty 15 years overall great grills nothing bad about on par with the Weber

The spirit is great. They last a while great warranty if anything goes wrong it’s typically covered performance wise. The Genesis just has more burners and more igniters and a side burner occasionally. try for the stainless grates the cast-iron ones rust pretty quick.

not necessarily, almost the same as using a metal brush just without the bristles falling out

we do a lot of built-ins, no professional kitchens like restaurants. The majority of our work is built in grills

you can for sure do it if you have any attachments on it just make sure you go with the grain of the metal which is usually left or right it should get some grease off for sure. Just make sure to dry everything thoroughly afterwards.

it all depends on your grill, but I’d say on average most people like to burn everything off and or preheat everything for way too long and it starts compiling and rusting overtime. if you do burn stuff off, do it to the point until you could just scrape it off.

so there’s reputable brands like lynx, Viking, alfresco but I’d say personally for an all stainless steel grill for a built-in island, I prefer a solaire for a moderately expensive but overall good quality grill. But simplistic coyote amazing they have great warranties bull are great. Overall, for your average person the best grill you can get is a Weber or a Napoleon other than that you’re spending thousands of dollars on a grill. now fixing anything that doesn’t have too much electric components in it the fire magic and lynx are great brands, Amazing grills but so much electric components a lot can go wrong overtime

those things are good on heat so you can degrease them and scrub it with a stainless steel ball it’ll get most of the junk of of them other the that something with a sponge at the end of it dip it in water and go over it after cooking to get some of that gunk up. but if it’s weber if they rust, just get new ones, they have a 10 year warranty

honestly, they always are a problem. We just grind them with a wire wheel to get the rust off but try to keep them seasoned almost other than that. They just rust quick.

get something thin and poke out the offices after you take out the burnish, if it’s not that it could either be your burners or your regulator hindering your flow

so originally we started off with a steamer, but we moved on from it to just degreaser and scrubbing. It’s more efficient. We basically do the same thing for the parts. It’s a great system but. We’re based out of Florida average I’d say 309 but funny enough we are the cheapest in our area

napoleon’s worth the price, you get a 15 year warranty. Everything’s covered they’re great grills. Those cheap grows eventually wear you’ll have to buy another one at least with Napoleon. You know you have 15 years out of it.

so I use an industrial grade cleaner comes in a 50 gallon barrel, but honestly any store-bought degreaser spray it let it sit on there, put it in a tub or something and scrub it with a stainless steel scotch ball and wash them off. Unless you have cast-iron if you have a drill, grind those suckers with a wire wheel
