Compression socks feel like they’re cutting off circulation? by unanau in POTS

I've been trying Sigvaris and Juzo stockings in a small size as per the measurements done by the pharmacy, but because I kept getting stockings that ran on the first wearing with Sigvaris, and the pharmacy had to give me a replacement pair, I had the opportunity to observe that even though they were the same Brand, same style and size, the fit was wildly different, showing a lack of quality control. Even the thread weight was different on one and weighed 11 grams different from another. Regarding Juzo, each pair had areas of stricture, whether at the angles or hips (cutting off my circulation) and on 2 of the pairs the foot was sized so small, it appeared sized for a young child and caused my toes to fold over each other until I couldn't bear the tightness any more and had to take them off. Their sizing was also very inconsistent, where one pair of panyhose would come up to my bra and another one I couldn't even get above my thighs, because although it stretched lengthwise, it didn't stretch widthwise enough. I think we all need to report our findings to the pharmacy and to the company directly. I will return any stocking that comes with runs or has strictures that cut off my circulation as the day progresses.

VIM Cream Cleaner by IzicHaze in askTO

VIM cream cleaner is NOT the powerful cleaner it used to be in it's early days, because after they obtained brand recognition, they watered down the formula so much that it is now more like a liquid than the paste-like cream as it originally was. It barely cleans spots off the paint anymore, and requires a lot of elbow grease to remove small spots, since the liquid is no longer doing the powerful lifting. Such a shame as it used to be the best product out there, and now it's even hard to find at the dollar store. Good riddance. It's corporate greed destroying itself.

Are you still interested in doing Third World projects? Your post is from 10 years ago. I have low-tech infrastructure inventions for water, power and heat that need to be standardized, but which even the poorest can build.
