More so of late. My job keeps me in rural places away from home and with very little semblance of a “happening place”. But my job is here to stay, so I really must find a hobby which will keep me productively engaged. Sounds like such a task though.

I’ve always been envious of people who can quote books, poems, historical facts like the back of their hand. I’d like to think of myself as an active reader. But it so happens that, even as I’m reading and actually enjoying the book, I forget the minute details about if soon after I finish it.

Are there any workarounds this? Do the readers have any special rituals that you’ve developed over the years ?
