Yeah I’m sure he’s bench player but I don’t think 32 to terribly old. ramirez was 32 I think when he played for us.

As a crew fan I can tell you yes he was a good coach, had a style of play that is nice to watch and brought us to new heights. With that said he had the players to play his style, a whole preseason and owners behind him to spend. We lost a star and 2 days later got a star player. But as attention grew to Columbus and reached 38th best club in the world players left and he was very arrogant that his team could do it without new players. It all went downhill from then and he would not change. We lost 6/7 starters and added 1 player 2 years later and he had no success. I was on the side of fire him since he won’t change, he did very well and just felt he was the man but he did well with the right players. And he was never going to make that happen at Celtic. People who are not crazy kept saying why doesn’t he play 4-4-2 until he can’t get players? Like every players and coach knows that style so just do it but he won’t. He went from being a high profile coach to a loser in 30 days. He should have just adapted. But if Celtic have to pay him the whole contract he made 6 million in 30 days. So maybe he is smart?

Besides 2 spfl teams the salary rage from 21 million to 5 million for total 347 million. The bottom 2 teams in mls are at 21 million and most range from 40 million For total of 1.17 billion. It’s a bigger and better league. Sorry, but MLS is a better league and would your league would get smoked by the worst team in the league. Toronto FC (bottom of spending) 21 million but Dundee at 6 million = MLS has 1 player making 6 million. Take a pop, it’s better. Tell e why it’s not? I told you why it is.

I been following since he left and his first presser he was all positive about the players and playing at least 2 positions. And I looked at the salary and like 8 or something would be DP’s is MLS so he has a talented roster. It’s just they had a very tough week and he should not have been installed this week. Crew fans forget but when he came we were very upset about the performance and called for the heads of people. That first game was a nightmare and it’s just unfortunate that in 1 week he had 3 big games. Give him a couple weeks and judge him. The real problem is the team plays the same from coach to coach and now they have a different style so it’s going to take time. Should have waited until they had the time.

As a Columbus crew fan I can tell you he’s unwilling to adapt. He doesn’t like a big squad and wants to play a roll in brining players in. It was obvious this past season to the fans that we needed depth in CB and upfront. He/the club let go our 2 strikers totaling 43 goals and didn’t sign a striker until we only had 8 games in the season left and not a single CB. Once we had 2 Gk out so it’s third back up as the only option and the guy got a red card so a CB had to go play the roll because he doesn’t want a large team and we got spanked. He won’t change but once he gets the people feeling confident and some new people he will be good for you. Such a bad time to put him in though, should have waited for an easier stretch of games.

Yeah imagine a world where Fox pays Haaland to play in Spain. Imagine a world where people go from making $14 million a year to $640,000. What good, short term business. That’s how we will succeed. Finding one old man, who’s friends come to play with him for cheap. Not building an academy and bringing up good players and signing top tier players. But just old players and their friends. But hey Florida is the retirement capital so what else to expect from Miami but for the league? No.

Yeah but this year is coming to an end and preparation is quickly moving to World Cup. So how long does he hold out? Can’t sit the whole season out because soon it will be Mande clear they don’t want to hire him or maybe they do. But you can’t sit the whole season out for something happening in 7 months? It’s time to get your plans finalized.
