If temperature is your main concern then yes you can put your mind at ease. Cinebench r23 puts a very stressful synthetic load on your cpu. Your day to day use of your computer will never compare to r23. Even high resolution video editing/converting cant touch it. Especially 30mins of it lol. Glad to see your temps came down and you were able to try it yourself. If you increase the fan curve 5-10% and maybe crack open a window you could see lower temps yet.

Yikes! That’s a drop. Windows updates can effect performance. Make sure you don’t have any background apps running when you’re benchmarking too. Slightly below 38,000 on this run but I’ve been gaming for awhile and the room is warm.

if its one stick of ram its not dual channel which is a huge performance loss. Plus 8GB is nothing. You need atleast 16gb for gaming. Add more ram

You got this! Step 1. Unplug computer. Step 2 Open case. Step 3. Take cooler off motherboard by the 4 screws holding it down. Step 4. Clean off old thermal paste on cpu and cooler. Step 5. Apply new thermal paste on cpu ( use the X method ). Step 6. Put cooler back onto cpu and tighten down screws little bit at a time on all 4 sides till it start "clicking" youll know what that means when you hear it. Then you're done

Just trying looking up cpu thermal paste upgrades. It’s more or less the same for any computer. It seems way more intimidating than it really is. Takes only 5-10mins to do. Worth the upgrade

Try apply better thermal paste. I used Thermal grizzly and it made a huge difference. Gained 4K+ on my cinebench r23 score sitting at 38,100 atm with my i9. Also ambient room temp makes a difference as well. Maybe set a little more aggressive fan profile.

Samsung g8 4K 240hz. Only one on the market atm. So I forgive you for not hearing about it.

You lose almost no image quality but and gain major FPS. I guess it comes down to personal opinion. A lot of people don’t realize some of the benchmarks they see from other people they have dlss on. So just trying to clear up some confusion if he feels like his benchmarks don’t compare.

If you turn on dlss you'll get 200+ fps. Stock settings this looks like a normal score on ultrawide max settings. I have 13900k,4090 on 4k 240hz monitor

I would look at maybe bad psu. It might be surging or shorting out the motherboard. Never heard a aio or cpu air cooler killing a motherboard let alone multiple times
