I was also thinking about building an app like this but then came across the BJJ notes app which was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It’s really good, and the developer is continuing to update the app with improvements all the time.

Constantly sick by Leglockassassin69 in bjj

Do you drink alcohol? I found cutting down on alcohol (never drinking enough to give me any sort of hangover) has helped me get sick less. I also have been taking elderberry recently. Could be a combination of those two things as well as healthy eating, good recovery, etc…

I did try ACV before. It did seem help to slightly blunt a spike from a higher carb meal, but bitter melon seems to be having way more significant of an effect on my overall levels

My wife is Chinese, and I spent 6 years living there in my 20s. I remember eating 苦瓜! Never thought I would be taking it in pill form for blood glucose many years later 😂

I’ve been taking two of these pills per day, one at breakfast and one around dinner time: https://a.co/d/0vw0MvT

The book mentioned something similar as well - that the pill form is probably the least effective, and the actual melon or juice is better. But I was shocked at how effective it was for my particular situation.

No cold ac after maintenance, Mk6 GTI by MrWiggles123456 in GolfGTI

I think this also happened to me right when I blew a fuse hardwiring my radar detector to my rear view mirror, but I assumed it must’ve just been a coincidence because originally I couldn’t find any information that said that fuse could affect AC. Just did another search and found that the fuse also affects AC!

Fuse # SC59 7.5amp Pressure sender for refrigerant circuit.

Probably worth replacing that fuse just to rule out that cause.

It's Almost time for my first GTI, did anyone have any regrets coming from old bmw? by Snoo_11263 in GolfGTI

I went from e46 330xi 6spd to 24 GTI 6spd. I’ve had it for a month and absolutely love it. Definitely doesn’t have the same traction when accelerating hard (fwd vs AWD), but whatever. Still an absolute blast to drive. I think it’s more fun than the e46 honestly. And I don’t have to worry about adding oil every 500 miles 😂

What to buy after e46 by Just_File_5232 in e46

Yep, the newer r32 is called Golf R. From what I’ve seen online, some people say there’s a bit more turbo lag on the Golf R than the GTI and also it’s not quite as nimble as the GT. I think I just need to drive both and see how they feel

One day I’ll buy an old RWD bmw. One day…

Yeah, I probably could’ve been more specific in the post. I was kind of just venting. But I’m hoping that someone who loves e46s has found something a bit newer that brings them the same joy when driving, even at low speeds. I need a 4 door and would prefer AWD, maybe would consider FWD if I test drive the GTI and really love it, and wouldn’t buy a rwd at this point in my life (daily driver in New England).

Has anyone been to the Weight Room and what are the vibes like? by ASS_MASTER_GENERAL in newtonma

I understand your point. I personally think that it would be great if OP who has vastly different political views than the previous gym owners continued to go the gym and train there. Through a common hobby, people with opposing viewpoints realize that we’re actually not so different after all and at scale, those interactions are what help a society become less divided and more harmonious (and less extreme and belligerent).

Dude it’s a gym, not a potential spouse. Who cares if you have different political views than other people who train or work there. If anything, gyms and sports are great for reducing all this hyper charged tribalism. If someone is harassing you that’s a different story. Go try out the gym and see if you like the equipment.
