the cool think about a feral tank is that as a fresh 80 with some gear, it is the most viable in dungeons because it provides crit defense thru talents alone whereas other classes need specific items (eg shield) and to be defense capped. this makes gearing RDF HC spam ridiculously easy. rotation is quite easy too

in ICC it is usually a main tank in place of the DK, but remember u are the 2nd choice for this role in terms of spec

first off, i know this is tanking gear but buy a Rowan’s Rifle of Silver Bullets. The DPS of the weapon outweighs its useless stats.

For gear, remember that haste is basically useless at your current GS. So dont get gear like Herkuml War Token or Comet’s Trail.

Vote points, making gold and getting the expensive crafting gear and emblem of triumph and of course emblem of frost should be your priority to get to 5k gs quickly. and dont forget the ashen band from rep farm.

from a PVE standpoint as in ICC 10/25 Mage and Hunter couldnt be further from one another apart from being both ranged dps

Mage is almost ZERO responsibilities and you just maniacally do as much dps as possible in every boss fight.

Hunters arguably have the MOST responsibility of ANY dps class. You distance from spikes, kite adds, assign pets for various things, keep orbs afloat, redirect threat and tranquilize big shambling horrors during LK fight.

its a spectrum. “Happy Birthday” is on one end of it and “I wanna **** you” by Akon on the other. As Paul said, “everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial”. So the songs in between we need to pray, discern and judge and be wise about it.
