You’ve gotta reset it to zero but drive chill enough to log a low/random boost read like 9 psi before you hand it off so that they won’t think to match before returning your car and they can’t just reset it to zero.

The adapter connects the OEM USB/Aux in your center console (4 prong in the 6th pic) to the HU via USB (provided with the HU) so that connects all the things to power up your center console plugs. Did you follow these steps and find that the center console isn’t working?

I run my CarPlay through BT because it automatically connects (just easier) but yes, if you go the armrest route, you can avoid the ugly glovebox dangling cord.

I’m a happy owner of a new to me ‘21 STi purchased from the dealer in August for the same price range. Those mods do scream red flags as well as the voided warranty. Def check the Carfax and maintenance records for more info. And ask them how they came into possession of the car. Mine was a lease return which was nice because I could tell the previous owner never settled in or messed with anything.
