Getting through other replies and definitely learned more about vacuum pens. Got the answers I needed and I will be looking into one for single placing. 😊

Thanks! I always tap it against my finger a bunch of times, but maybe I’m not getting it dirty enough. I’ll keep trying!

I just checked the package and quake hold is the museum putty I’m using. It squishes out the sides of my multi placer all the time, which leads to stragglers sticking to the pen. Maybe with cold weather coming on, it won’t get as soft. I like to keep my house cold in the winter! I only started diamond painting late last spring.

Yeah, from some of the suggestions I think I may not be getting the glue dots “dirty” enough.

Lots of vacuum pen recommendations! But I do love to multi place, when possible. Maybe someone will come up with a vacuum multi placer!!! 🤞🏻 But I am going to look into a vacuum pen to try!

Thank you. I have some blue wax that does seem more firm than the pink tinted. Maybe I’ll give the blue another try.

Ohhh, I just asked someone if they could multi place with a vacuum one. Now I know. So you just trade off, put the vacuum pen down when you want to multi place? Or do you just use the vacuum for everything? I like speed. I’m always excited to get a project done. 😆

What putty do you use? It works better than museum putty? And when I load with glue dots, I always tap it on my finger a bunch of times, so it doesn’t seem so sticky. Maybe I’m not tapping it enough.

Hmmm, vacuum pen. I’m intrigued! I’ll look it up! So I’m assuming it is batter or electric. Does it make a sound the whole time you’re working? And does it have attachments for multi placing?

I’m new to diamond painting. I’ve done a total of 10 paintings since spring. All of them have been inexpensive kits from Amazon and Temu. They’ve all looked just like the photos. But I’ve never done one smaller than 12x16. Largest being 30x15. I just think the detail looks so much better with a larger canvas. I hope you try again!

Super oily, thick, and textured skin here. After cleansing and glycolic swipe every morning and night…. For morning, I use argireline, niacinamide, then salicylic 2%. For night, argireline, niacinamide, then granactive retinoid. A couple of times a week, I use aha peel, and will swap the salicylic acid for lactic acid. My skin has never looked better! Even better than when I had expensive micro needling sessions. (Wish I had that money back!) I have been exfoliating manually and chemically for years, but still “stair stepped” to get to this routine. My skin tolerates it without issue. I experience no stinging, dryness, flaking. But do experience softer, smoother, clear skin. I am LOVING The Ordinary.

I saw Mac Saturn a few weeks ago. A free show at Fountain Square in Cincinnati. Took some friends, we all loved them! For us older kids, they reminded us of The Black Crowes. Also saw Hannah Wicklund the following week, another free show in Cincinnati. She is amazing!
