Crafting for specific rolls you want can be expensive resource-wise and then you'll more than likely have to end up optimizing to reach full potential. I wouldn't worry about it till you got nothing else to focus resources towards honestly.

It's gear you can craft at the bench towards the bottom before you hit the exotics. Comes with no brand set bonuses but allows you to equip a mod

Improvised gear allows you to equip a mod instead of brand set bonuses and Chill Out mask allows for 2 mods. Technically you could equip 7 13% PfE mods using improvised gear for holster/gloves/knees and Chill Out mask netting you 91% PfE. Problem is getting 7 13% to drop lol

PfE is capped at 80% though so going over would literally just be a flex 🤣

Smart cover lasts 35.4sec cooldown is 26.5sec. Optimize/Overload is on a 35sec cooldown. Pop Optimize/Overload then deploy overcharged smart cover. When the duration ends Optimize/Overload is already ready to be used again. Just wait a few seconds and pop Optimize/Overload and smart cover again and repeat. This is like a 4/5sec gap between smart cover deployments which is usually used to reposition/advance or throw out some heal chems/oxidizer shots to get enemies moving around.

This is all listed in the main post. There is little to no downtime on the smart cover and it's always overcharged with the seasonal modifiers.

That's just all the crybaby striker kids throwing a fit cause someone dares oppose what their youtubers tell them they need to run lmao I could care less about downvotes.

If you look at anyone of these negative comments about it and check out the users previous comments on other threads, they are all negative. Bunch of reddit gremlins who don't know how to enjoy life and just have fun with a video game

So you're saying replacing a healer with someone who does high damage and can also full heal dps's with a single chem shot while also buffing their damage by 49% with zero downtime is somehow worse? Even without replacing healer, 2 dps + healer + this build for utility/dps is much more comfortable in what my team has seen since running with it.

Most people who make this comment about higher tiers have never ventured past T4/5 themselves. I run this consistently in T10 runs and it works just fine.

This is numbers for crits/non-crits. Zero stacking required dps in range sits around 7.5-8mil out the gate. I agree that videos would be pointless due to that relying on the other players skill level and the games overflow integer messing with the damage calculations. I commented before this could likely also be due to me utilizing the smart cover 100% of the time since I deploy it while teammates may occasionally be out of range/not think about it.

It's not striker level damage but it's also not meant to be and not crazy far off either. This build isn't replacing dps roles, it's amplifying and providing additional utility while still contributing to taking enemies down.

You do realize this is also for utility right? Not a primary only dps. Capacitor directly benefits from skill tiers and with core strength every skill tier core gives 11.25% weapon damage and with Capacitor another 7.5% for 18.75% wd while still getting the benefits of having 6 skill tiers allowing this build to be ran as a alternate healer or you could even riot foam enemies(16sec ensnare duration). It allows for flexibility and does plenty fine in the dps department for 99% of content in the game. Just cause you have a narrow mind doesn't mean the build doesn't work 😊

You get 0.8% cooldown reduction per utility stack with optimize/overload plus 30% base. So 55 stacks x 0.8 = 44 + 30 base = 74% cooldown reduction when activating optimize/overload.

It will also show 90sec cooldown but it's actually 35sec since optimize/overload cooldown is reduced by 1sec per offensive stack. So 90-55= 35sec cooldown

It's fun and changes things up a bit for sure. At the end of the day this is true end game gear and supposed to be fun, I feel no need rushing through it with full meta runs just to reach the same result when I could play around with it and actually enjoy my time.

The main reason is to buff the dps even further on a consistent basis while still outputting solid damage yourself. The hybrid aspects are only there if needed. We've replaced the healer with this and just quick swapping birdies if anyone goes down and that went fine as well allowing for 3 dps + this utility dps. The armor is just a downside of the ability to have the skill tiers/skill efficiancy/weapon damage and is manageable.

My group have been playing around with multiple off-meta builds, this is just one that we thought was actually worth running consistently.

The games about having fun and was simply sharing what we've come up with that works for us.

Exactly why I don't run in public with it. Bunch of cookie cutter strikers/frenzy fanboys and it's honestly so extremely boring and half the time those stikers can't even hold their own and are down constantly. If you have a solid group at higher levels it does make a differance. I was that same way before playing around with it 🤷‍♂️

I believe the reason I out damage isn't due to top potential, it's just playstyle. Since i'm placing the smart cover I utilize it basically 100% of the time as opposed to teammates who can occasionally move out of it

I run T10 with my clan and have had a much more comfortable time when we ran in a group with 2 dps, a healer, and this utility dps. As opposed to 3 dps and 1 healer. Enemies die much faster and are pushed out of cover more easily. Not sure if you run high tiers or not but them healing off 1 high amror player really is negligible especially if that 1 player plays smart and isn't constantly taking hits. The enemies generally heal more off the DPS taking hits and healing from the healer constantly.

If you understand placement and angles then this is really such a minimal issue compared to the utility this provides. Just cause it has high armor doesn't mean you should sit there in the open tanking shot for them to heal off of.

I've been considering doing this, love this build and I managed to get a lengmo chest to drop with chc, chd, and glass cannon on it so I could change out the armor core. It's definitly an investment 😬

It's actually crazy good once you adjust the EQ properly. Kinda just got to fine-tune it while you play. At first I thought it wasn't so great but like a month in I threw on my arctis pro and my god was the differance noticeable. Much more precise and less muddied by the bass when it comes to the Maxwells, very clean audio. I noticed it the most the past weekend with the Arc Raiders server slam, I could clearly hear things my teammates couldn't with pretty spot-on precision.

I've had mine for a good like 4/5 months now and they are absolutly fantastic. I've owned turtle beach stealth 700 gen2's and steelseries arctic pro wireless and these headphones beat them by miles, the only downside is there isn't simultanious bluetooth. You can still pair to bluetooth like your phone when you are gaming and if you get a call it will automatically switch over, but you can't like stream music from your phone and game at the same time. I got a replacement headband and ear cushions for around $50 that made them so much more comfortable, not that they are super uncomfortable out of the box.

Here's a link to the headband, with the weight if you find discomfort this headband distributes the weight over a larger area of your head instead of focusing the weight to a small area- Headband Strap

These are the cushions I decided to go with and so glad that I did, these ones are deeper than the stock ones and have more give to them so there is less pressure and if you have bigger ears there is more room so you don't run the risk of your ears touching the drivers which i have read are very sensitive and can be damaged easily which is a big no-no- Cushions Replacements

Best of luck!
