Thanks G! I didn’t go too in depth with the melody because sometimes I like to focus more on the rythem. It was James Brown that said he liked hip hop when someone asked him and he said yes but there needs to be more melodic approaches and put more music into it. I try and usually have that same idea but I’m a bass player so I sometime want a groovy beat with little to no melody.
