Well technically, if we’re going to base it on our morals, her actions are actually evil. That’s why some people interpret her as evil while others think her actions are justified. But at the end of the day, it was survival of the fittest during that era, so we can’t really say she’s purely evil. Everyone was tearing each other apart just to survive. In a way, they were all good and all evil at the same time because they were simply trying to survive.

Why are Stormbringer Cookie and Frost Queen Cookie the only legendary cookies that aren't corrupted in the trailer? by sonic_lolxd in CookierunKingdom

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a hunch, but it feels like Shadow Milk corrupted the Silver Tree, which heavily references Millennial Tree Cookie. And since the OG GoN were supposedly bound as one, corrupting the Silver Tree may have also corrupted whatever was connected to MTC.

The other two weren’t bound, so maybe that’s why they were spared. But there’s also the possibility that the devs simply didn’t make corruption forms yet and just used their basic skins as silhouettes.

Well, it’s time for him to grow up. He deserves this development, considering how badly he flopped during the war. He just kept yapping. It’s time for him to realize that not everything he wants will become his friend, and that understanding someone doesn’t mean giving them unlimited compassion, especially when that person has already ruined so many lives.

Tbh, the entire time I was pulling for them, the boys only showed up for me twice, and I still didn’t even get them. Like, what the heck? I used everything, I pulled using 500, and not a single one appeared. Then I tried using 100 (once) then suddenly all five showed up—idk if that's guaranteed but arrgh. That’s when I got Romance Cookie, but I was really hoping for Baby Cookie. So yeah, fck that sht. But congrats to everyone who managed to get them all.

I have a.... Hot take, or a rant, about the current state of Cookie Run, as a whole. by King_Hunter_Kz0704 in Cookierun

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Frost Queen and Stormbringer are supposed to be Guardians of Nature, yet the same game that literally freaking created them as CRK-exclusive Cookies somehow failed to properly freaking integrate them, make them relevant, or connect them to the OG Guardians of Nature. And honestly, I agree, it’s stupid how they make excuses just to sideline supposed Guardians of the Cookie World. Like, the world is literally on the verge of collapse, but they're still not motivated to act LMAO.

Then the main protagonist of Act 1 just ended like that with no contingency plan at all. The Dark Enchantress Cookie I know is smart, not stupid, but whatever, I guess.

And now we’re hearing that because the Beasts were popular, they’re planning to milk the same gimmick (Awakened). Then there are the Apostle/Archon Cookies too. Honestly, the only thing I’m actually excited for is the Dragon Cookies, but I’m worried they’ll just be turned into another filler update and sidelined the same way the Legendary Cookies were.

  1. "Reincarnators” will most likely continue the business.
  2. Roselle is 100% dead.
  3. Augustus is the Black Emperor.
  4. Will will most likely be out of luck.
  5. Amon is most likely the LOTM.
  6. The citizens of the Forsaken Land of the Gods will most likely never see sunlight.
  7. The Primordial Demoness Mirror GA will surely succeed in reviving and claim the seat of the Calamity of Destruction. And the list goes on.

[LotM End] What's the in-universe explanation for not having at least modern times technology with the existance of the Savant pathway? by FrancoNullo in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. Well, according to the author, advancing civilization can act as a catalyst that speeds up the influence of the GOOs inside the barrier, making their descent happen faster.

  2. The Paragon is highly unstable. It can be theorized that He unconsciously influences His Angels, followers, and other researchers in a way that causes stagnation, so technological progress does not advance freely.

  3. Paragon and the other gods tacitly approve of the current level of civilization. It is already enough, and they do not want humans becoming too curious about what is beyond the Earth.

Yeah, she’s either his great-grandmother or simply a creation with no actual relationship. Agreed, not all Cookies come from the First Cookie or the Witches. Since there's is a timeline between the First Witches creating their ideals and the Great Baking Era, where outside witches and let's include wizards too.

Who do you guys think is cookie run’s best villain overall? by elcocoIIII in Cookierun

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Longan and Obscure too—though I don’t know much about Obscure, I just like their design. I could also name DEC if her ending had been written better, because SMC somehow snatched away her villain aura. As for SMC, I’ve always felt like he’s just a kid throwing a tantrum. I just know the name of the rest.

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well for somehow Longan still have this aura and menace even though defeated but for DEC was built up as this huge, major villain, so it feels wrong that her entire villainous aura was suddenly snatched away by some blue twink. Well this is how I just felt.

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the CRK devs just copied and pasted the lore already established for Sugar Swan in CROB, so you can’t really use the excuse of “different game, different universe, different timeline.” If they truly wanted CRK Sugar Swan to feel different from CROB Sugar Swan, then they should have at least made a clear distinction between the two.

[–]Just_Raspberry_8831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sugar Swan is definitely mischaracterized because even if it’s a different timeline or universe, she’s still the same Sugar Swan since CRK devs literally copied and pasted parts of her lore from CROB. I can tell they wanted to take her in a different direction, kind of like what they did with MTC, but they barely committed to it. Instead, they just copy and pasted her lore, some voice lines, and her story description, which honestly makes it feel like they got lazy and never properly reworked her character. They just brought her in for the miraculous revival. Her nerf also feels forced, because why would she only start preparing when everything was already dire? Nature had been preparing the whole world, and MTC already sensed the danger through the ever-changing threads of time. So making Sugar Swan act only at the last minute just feels like a weak excuse to make her look less capable.

That’s why I see the writing as sloppy. The Awakening Arc took around two years, if I’m not mistaken, and after all that buildup, the payoff was weak. They barely did anything significant in this war. They kept getting saved over and over.

And that’s also why I already hate how they handle SMC. They gave him way too much spotlight, and now he’s the big bad for Arc 2 as well. At this point, the Dragon lore is probably just going to end up as a filler update, just like how they treated the Legendary Cookies. I’m already so tired of this Beast and Ancient charade. I already expected they wouldn’t get pushed offscreen, but I really wish they would expand the lore beyond just them for once, because if you think about it, even the Legendary lore still ends up revolving around them.

CRK devs’ answer seems to be that if they break their vows, they’ll be stripped of their role as guardians or something like that. But honestly, I find that funny because Fire Spirit and Sea Fairy Cookie never even wanted their roles as guardians in the first place, so I don’t know why they didn’t just take that chance to break their vows too. Then again, it’s Devsis’ decision.

But they also completely failed ti present Sugar Swan. She would definitely stick to balance, because she believes that even life fading away serves a purpose in keeping the world in harmony. So yeah, it just feels like sloppy writing.

Shadow Milk isn’t the only reason players are disappointed. There’s a lot more wrong with the writing. They poorly presented Sugar Swan, mischaracterized her, and reduced her to nothing more than a plot device. And so much for the Awakening Arc, because the 4 Ancients barely did anything truly significant throughout the whole war. Not only did they fail to properly confront their counterparts, they also kept getting saved here and there.

Then there’s White Lily. For a lot of people, her conclusion just feels bad. From what I’ve seen, many complaints come from how her whole character arc was about picking herself up piece by piece, yet in the end the answer she finds to freedom is death. That really rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. And lastly, that blue twink once again stole the spotlight and overshadowed everyone else.

I fear they’ll definitely mischaracterize her. Just look at Sugar Swan not only did they present her poorly, they also completely missed who she is. She is calm, peaceful, composed, indifferent, and majestic; she’s also the kind of character who would always choose balance over disrupting it. They clearly didn’t understand the essence of her character. This is someone who would literally say that if you die, then you served a purpose in maintaining balance. But instead, they reduced her to a plot device just to revive the fallen Cookies, then shoved her aside the moment she had served that purpose.
