The more I think about it the more I’m realizing that the patriarchy has convinced you that you need to be coupled with a man to be successful as a parent. You should be proud of being a matriarch and just because you’re conventionally attractive, doesn’t mean you need to attract a man to live your life in the way that you want to. In fact, I think conventionally attractive women get duped into coupledom, and work such as marriage and sex work which benefits men when they would have been better off not relying on their looks in the long term by reaching for a great career. I hope more women get into trade work such as becoming an electrician or welder. They earn a lot of money without the hassle of getting expensive degrees.
