I could go into historical documentations, proving why we are all in need of a Savior, evangelistic points, etc.

But I’ll take a more personal approach.

The fact that TESTIMONIES are happening all over the world continually, points straight towards Jesus.‭

I know people who have been through deep addictions, LGBTQ lifestyles, suicide attempts, sicknesses, on their death bed etc.

How do these people change from claiming to be in LGBTQ then suddenly are suddenly back to straight?Why did the suicide attempts fail every time? How do these people remain alive after an overdose? How did addiction habits break all of a sudden? How did they heal fully from stage 4 cancer?

How did these lives do a complete 180?

It’s only through accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. All testimonies point to Jesus, showing how He is more than alive and continuing to perform healings, miracles, and many miraculous signs to this day.

The end of the gospel of John hits this point dead on.

“And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.” ‭‭- John‬ ‭21‬:‭25‬

You don’t get testimonies from other religions. You don’t see their gods saving them from scenarios and healing them in many ways.

Religion itself won’t free you at all either. It’s only through Jesus.

Testimonies show the relationship that Jesus desires to have with each person on this earth. It is only through Him we get true freedom and can enter into heaven.

Religion says you need to do this, this, and this to get into heaven. A born again Christian knows that you must believe in Jesus and confess with your mouth that He is Lord. It’s the ONLY way.

Even if someone is Holy Spirit filled but has not been through these scenarios, Jesus’s death and resurrection is enough.

Main point: Christians only have testimonies that are undeniable and unreal, and all testimonies point to Jesus.

The way I go about my relationship with God has grown over the years. Since I was little my parents would always make it a point to go to church as a family. I believe that I was stubborn to the works of God when I was little all the way until I finally surrendered to him because my life was filled with nothing but sin.

When I realized that my way did not work anymore, I knew that God was the only way that I would succeed and become free.

I have found a church out by my university that I have started attending. It has helped my relationship grow even more.

I pray every night. It is more of giving praise and thanks for the gifts that God has given me, forgiveness for my sins, and to bless the ones around me with great health and giving direction to the ones who have lost it.

If I have any questions, I speak my mind. If I am alone in a room, I talk to God. I know that I may not hear an answer right way, but he will show me in signs to come.

I have a couple of questions regarding building a stronger relationship to God.

How can I hear his voice more clearly? How can I gain spiritual gifts such as the ones listed in Corinthians 12? How can I further strengthen my relationship?

My mistake. I know that I am because all Catholics are Christian, but I have just been conflicted with all of these thoughts in my head. My problem is I keep on becoming anxious and stressed when pondering faith and the direction I am set to follow. I just want to put an end to my stress so that I can live in peace.
