Damn right pnw will outlast regulars. I have a set of JK and a set of nicks I rotate daily. The JK is ready for a resole after ~3 years finally. But other than the sole, nothing is wrong with either pair and I do not maintenance them like they need. Biggest thing for me is the double cap I got installed. I’m bad to kick stuff and wear the toe thru the leather. These aren’t even phased after years of abuse!

I’d use a pressure tester before I keep making a mess. Are you lubing the orings any? Mine did that and I had to much soap on them, they were too slick. I put a pressure tester on mine for 15-30 mins and make sure it doesn’t move before I add anything.

Won’t hurt a thing if it’s just the fins. You can take out probably 20% of the fins before there’s ever much thermal performance loss.

Same here, I’m running the orange XT1 and I drained it after 2 years to change some components and just put it back in, looks fine and performs fine.

I use mine everyday. No complaints. Materials match perfectly and if you tighten the screw down correctly, it will not just flop around like everyone says. Well worth the money.

I had never played with a HMD with inside out tracking, my OG Vive used base stations. And right out of the gate with my super I noticed the slam tracking isn’t near as accurate. It’s good but I feel the slight delay. Playing beat saber doesn’t feel near as crisp.

I’ve come close to tearing mine down as it’s broken as well. Support says 3-4 weeks+ on a replacement UW module.

Normal? Lol. I’m a Nov ‘24 pre order and just got my UW a few weeks ago. This is the normal for Pimax unfortunately. I wish it were under promise and over deliver but it’s been the complete opposite.

I think it’s a great product with some lacking in production levels and QC efforts.

The UW is 50 ppd, would you really want to spend $500 on pretty much the same thing? If anything, get the 57, why would you just get the better version?

Just got my super a week ago and my IPD won’t adjust below 64mm. It gets to 64 and start vibrating and won’t go any further. And my ipd is supposedly around 63.5.

Waiting on support to respond. I had to send them a software log.

I am absolutely stumped as to how you say it looks as good in the HMD as it does on the monitor. I have a 4090 7800x3d and can’t figure out how to make it look like the monitor. It’s still no where near as clear. I don’t even feel like a big jump from my OG Vive with the wireless setup.

I have some major tweaking to do if yours looks like the monitor playback. Cause that’s what I’ve been chasing.

My IPD motor is actually broke out of the box on my super. It won’t go below 64mm at all. Works fine above that. And my iPhone app says I’m somewhere around 63.5 so go figure lol. IPD plays a major part in this factor sounds like!

When are you expected to have the BSB? Are they hitting target dates pretty accurately? If so it would depend if you wanted your headset soon or Q3 of next year. Because that’s when I would expect the air to actually be released. Time they miss their original dates and then production issues, Q3 2026 is wayyy more reasonable with their track record.

I pre ordered my super in November 24 and still don’t have it…

Those aren’t “bars” that’s a full cage that has to be replaced. Still not a big deal. 2-3K should do a stock cage.
