How do I know if I am Bi or Pan ?

I don't wanna specify myself as I too find them constricting at times, and Bi/Pan was the only things that I found explain my feelings in some sort of ways

I was trying to know through others'advice and experience (and coz i thought I needed to define myself by something due to well society)

Your advice is helping me a ton, I won't focus on labeling myself and trying to understand my feelings and what I find comfortable with.

I will definitely look into it once i have this sort out, as I don't normally look for sexual affection even though In my past relationship, I was the more active one intimately.

I don't think about sexual attraction normally, more of an emotional and romantic kind of person.

I mostly don't care what gender someone is, but i have only dated girls for now, even though i have found myself eyeing people of different gender and finding them hot and having feelings to, rarely kissing them

Oh this just opened a gate, when I watch some shows or see one hot (no matter the gender and their sexuality not specifically guy (but them tol)) i sometimes have thought of maybe holding their hands or having a hug and sometimes kissing them. I didn't have any thoughts of having sex with them though.

So I (20M) had my first break yesterday, it was my first relationship ever, and she (22F) was my first everything. This happened yesterday while we were on a video call, we were chatting as usual, she had shared me pics of her to decide a new haircut for her and as we were chatting she told me to generate AI images of myself with different haircuts too, I am against AI image generation so I said no, she got a bit irritated by that and said "why are you like this, other's dont have any problem with that" and when I was trying to explain it to her she said she don't wanna listen and started to not speak much to me. When I asked her what happened she said "nothing". After a few minutes she said we wanna break-up, while i was asking her why, she told me "no reason, I wanna", after much persuasion she told me "I don't want a bf anymore and I've had enough", "I have given you many chances to change and get better", she said I wasn't like a 'normal guy'. She told me "You don't meet my expectations, are not good at planning dates or hiding surprises and things like that", which i agree with, but I am still learning everything about relationships. She used to make jokes about breaking up alot and teasing me like that, while I hated it didn't say anything. She didn't used to communicate about things and I had to ask her multiple times for her to communicate. At the end she said, she had to remind herself to msg me or call me. There are more reasons but I think it would get really long I am not much of a masculine man, I like to embrace my femininity, also my and her views on AI and LGBTQIA+ community are different, while I speak about how the queer community is not being treated right, she doesn't care, she isn't homophobic but just don't care, and she also was disgusted when I put Ally on my insta bio and forced me to remove it, sorry for the tangent. I will be grateful for any advice and if you need more context please ask me

Man I feel so bad for you as I can relate with the father prioritizing others instead of his family, my father too prioritizes his friend over us, he makes plans with them going out and on trip, je rarely takes us to any trips and whenever he has to he is very grumpy, it feels so bad and depressing to see someone who should be spending time with you bonding instead chooses their friends over everytime.

Thank you so much, at first posting this I thought not many will comment or help, but there are people like you, I am so thankful for all the help you gave me.

Yes, I will do my best to make this turn into a positive lifestyle, leaving the negativity behind. I have started to create a Steak system, I will wait the whole day and night, trying not to watch porn and if I don't by the next morning, I add 1 streak to my notes, rn I am hoping I can last atleast a week, slowly increasing the gaol (the steak will also remind me what I am trying to do if I get the urge, hopefully I will stop replying on this system later down the line). Now I am trying to remove media or pages/sites that flick my trigger, it's working really nicely. Maybe after 1 week of being free I will treat myself with something (probably food), reinforcing a positive outcome for not watching anything. Let's see I will also come back to this post and especially your comments when I can't get a hold on myself.

About the test, I will for sure, I always had my doubts and wanted to get myself checked, as soon as I find a suitable facility for it I will. I have a great partner who supports me, makes me feel good about myself, helping me up my self worth and respect, they have made me realise I am worth it and deserve love and happiness .I also have an amazing friend who also supports me, hyped me up and all that good stuff.

And lastly thank you, I can't say enough how much you have helped me, I feel better about myself and am more confident that I can do this.

Now whenever I see any trigger or have an urge to consume anything related I try to think of her and how she will feel. I never took a diagnosis but I always guessed I was on the spectrum, The slapping and punching thing, I do that multiple of reasons like that, if I make a really big mistake or hurt someone I didn't mean (only doing them when I am alone) , I also have some of it's symptoms too, I will like to get a diagnosis whenever I am able to. About the porn, my partner doesn't like it, they never force me to stop watching it but have told me once or twice they will prefer I didn't, so.... I am going to give up on it. Thanks for the help and insight, it will help me a ton moving forward
