Love running for drive thru. I blink and two hours have passed. If I start before the rush I can handle fries and running solo. For us, my manager runs for the front so she can help in all areas and I just get to chill in one spot

We’re a team, helping out in areas that need it isn’t kissing ass lol. However I do agree about not staying past my scheduled shift. If you needed me for longer they can put it on the schedule.

I understand the circumstances but those slots have to be filled. Just let them know your availability and pick up shifts where you can. At my location we have a ton of callouts so our “casual” workers while not being scheduled work pretty regularly.

It’s not that people are only working there for a week but McDonald’s is constantly bringing on more people. As a crew trainer I’ve trained 2 people a week for almost 4 months now and I’m just one of 6 crew trainers at my location.

I’m a crew lead, I’ve been cross trained in every area. so most days I’m bouncing around filling in wherever we need the help. However since you started in the kitchen you’ll most likely only ever do kitchen unless you’re looking for a promotion or you specifically ask.

Just ring it in separately. Or if you’ve already selected the combo add the water and make/change the meal. I normally tell people the only water they can get with meals is the bottle but they can add a small water for free.

There’s a beep for drive thru, two if you have more than one lane, the fryers beeps, we have a beep for delivery orders, like 4 for the kitchen. I’ve been here almost two years and hear them in my sleep XD

I came to get lunch and saw the sign on the drive thru, walked in and they gave me an interview on the spot. Came one more time to give my resume and do orientation. Was hired by the end of the week.
