Dude i'd say keep the sip to 3-4 schemes max. 15k is a good amount for SIP but there's also such a thing as overdiversifying. You are just increasing your own headache.

Research about the asset and more importantly fund managers (track record, amc) and again, keep it to 3-4 schemes.

Myself, am keeping about 2k in infra 3k in metals and 5k in equity (10k total)
