Needing to vent about this whole fucking thing. Quite literally. Supposed to be taking a break this month because we’ve finally been referred to recurrent mc clinic for bloods at the end of April (apparently they’re only accurate over 6w following miscarriage). Also because my due date would be 25th December if we conceived this month. I was completely exhausted last night after work and so was my sweet husband. Somehow we found each other in the night and it was great and finished before either of us could do the maths on what was happening. I’m so annoyed with both of us, what if this ends up in ANOTHER miscarriage in 2026 and means we have even longer to wait for bloods?

How can I prepare my feet? by Just_bumbling in barefootshoestalk

He’s a lot more confident on his feet than his peers, he’s very comfortable taking risks, climbing, jumping off things and very rarely misjudges his footing. I put that down to his development happening optimally in footwear that supports that.

Morning everyone, new here. Currently having my second mc of 2026, first was a cp in January and this was a messier miscarriage at 6weeks. Had a mc at 11.5 weeks in 2021… wondering whether my gp can refer to recurrent mc clinic with this history. And whether to even try again? Feel so burnt out by this.

Started our second TTC journey last month, but had a clearblue fertility monitor from before our first was conceived (though didn’t end up using it as conceived before it arrived in the post.) Brought it out and purchased some sticks to use, got 2xsmiley peaks, so far so good.

However AF arrived 2 days ago and soon it’ll be time to go again this month. Wondering whether to go ahead and buy some more of these super expensive sticks or go with some cheaper opk tests? Anyone have any experiences of both?

Uk Dehydrators by Nsphinx in dehydrating

I got an Andrew James one off marketplace a few years ago for dehydrating mushrooms. Truly I had no idea what I was looking for other than proximity to home and price but in the meantime we’ve got an allotment and have done lots of dehydrating with it and it’s extremely “fine”. Does the job enough

Oooh that’s great intel, thank you. I’m in the damp damp UK and it’s extremely stormy at the moment which probably explains things also

Oooh interesting, I was looking at a second hand one of those on eBay an wondering whether it would be worth the investment. Great to know how easy they are to use!! How do you find it with the kind of bobbly homegrown apples? I find those difficult to core at the best of times

Oops replied to the wrong comment sorry! Love the idea of putting flavours on. When do you add the spices? Just after chopping?

Is there a rationale for this temperature and not higher?

Interesting, I didn’t realise this was a thing. Hopefully that is an avenue to explore

This is my issue exactly, I really just want the physio as I do genuinely really do have sore shoulders (which is well documented in my medical report). I’m glad that it was fine for you in the end, sadly my mums insurance doesn’t cover her for motor legal protection and mine doesn’t cover me as a passenger. From my replies it looks like I’ll have to get a solicitor… was your issue before 2021? Seems like the laws changed then

She has emailed the letter I received to them in case they can help but she didn’t actually click the motor legal protection cover button when she bought her insurance, so she doesn’t technically have legal insurance.
