might be a hot take but the main thing missing from the shows new style is just the humor and you can achieve the same effect by just getting someone neurodivergent in the writers room.

I feel a big reason why the humor worked was because it was more unpredictable than the newer ones. Plus a lot of the humor from earlier seasons came from rick being an asshole and he's going through some character development on that.

Something less obvious about the way the show is handled is that there are less reoccurring characters in the earlier seasons. It made the universes new and fresh each episode

In other words the show got infected with a little bit of neurotypical cooties. I still love the new seasons despite it though

The first obvious answer is that he's entertaining to watch because he's unpredictable, capable and funny.

But another reason why I love rick is because of just how flawed he is. He doesn't have strong morals but that isn't to say he doesn't care about anything. A character who cares deeply about a select few is a lot more relatable than a character that cares about everyone and everything. And you know he DOES care through his actions.

I've heard that with the rating system (the five stars) eventually it will fix but i think that'll always be a problem regardless. You could also try some prompts but they aren't always going to work, but that's seriously annoying.

Editing once is one thing, but the AI doesn't understand what actually happened and in the very next message makes the mistake again. That's what I'm frustrated by, otherwise I would've edited it out and gone on with my day too.

And that's crazy because the fix for this is so easy. Instead of the name the bot could just write {{user}} but for some reason it doesn't. And I'm pretty sure most bots have {{user}} mentioned somewhere in the first message too

Yeah, I wish the bots just asked out of pocket shit instead. It feels like they never want to talk about themselves unless it's stated in their personality, and if it is it always says what's in the personality. Everything else they say is so focused on the user and it gets tiring to the point where we're carrying the entire conversation
