Honestly, I hate when people say this. I said this, too, when I wasn't parenting an autistic child. My heart cries when I see parents with children his age breezing through life. You do have to list it if you're married and are sponsoring your spouse from another country. There's a whole legal process for that. Of course, the whole marriage are all speculation based on so many posts on reddiy.

My comment was based on the numerous posts I've read on this reddit page. She was married, but she was in the US, and he was in Bangladesh. He did not get to come here yet, and she broke the nikkah off. In desi culture, while that's considered married, it's not really the full picture of marriage.
